Cajuns-Baylor DH postponed due to weather. Baylor is in town, and are scheduled to play Northwestern in Nachitoches on Wednesday. A single game will be played between the Cajuns and Bears on Thursday.

This is my game du jour. I'm gonna guess the Cajuns' home field advantage is too much for the Bears. 7 innings, Cajuns 5, Baylor 2.

There is no school known as North Carolina either, but there is a team known as North Carolina just as there is a team known as Louisiana.

Must be a sad lot in life to be so obsessed with what someone calls a team on a softball board. The fact that you continue to bite when others jab says a lot about you.
Notice how your obsession in the only one on the list that demands being treated differently than all other other schools in the conference. If Monroe is ULM then Lafayette is ULL
ULL por vida

It was, is and will be ULL.

What's sad is a forum for the entire nation of college softball is repeatedly subjected to this little man syndrome from a few sad ULL fans/alums who insist on asserting their dominance in "proper" school names.  i wonder if they pee on random objects to show their dominance?  Something tells me I'm not too far off.

And for the record, all you "it's Louisiana, there is no ULL" people can feel free to call UT the University of Tennessee, Knoxville, as that is the official name, and while the 2 or 3 of you do that, everyone else will just call it "UT" or "Tenn" or whatever.

And no matter what ULL, (or, I'm sorry, Louisiana) does...it will always be second fiddle to LSU in terms of national athletic prominence.

He's right. There is no ULL. LSU or as we Gators call them LSwho,  has fought tooth and nail to try and keep anyone and everyone from messing with their so-called right to be the King-of-the-hill in Louisiana sports. No room you say? We have the University of Fla., Fla St. (the school out west) and Miami. The lawyers that run the state should give it a shot. Probably do wonders for the state of Louisiana! I'll always call them Louisiana cause I lived in Lafayette and raised a family there. [thumb]

What's way worse is when people refer to BU as the University of Baylor...

THIS !! Someone who gets it, unlike the antagonists with no vision and simple minds, that troll the Cajuns every chance they get. Won't name them, because they know who they are, just not worth mentioning the JERKS.
