I will be shocked if the Cajuns win this game.

Man who cares if she has a small leap.  Not gaining any advantage.   No big deal

All the Aggies have to do is not swing.

Very easy to call. With any hopper. Much easier to call than a runner leaving early

What is sad is that Stewart is only leaping. Her violation doesn't give her an advantage.

She is not replanting at 39 feet. The latter is a gamechanger

I have seen a helluva lot worse watching games on the sec network of leaping and being out the lane.

Got to give credit tho to the Aggie pitcher Mcbride for shutting down the Cajuns since she has come in.

Almost a complete collapse, what an ugly win. But we will take it.[biggrin] Stewart needs to get her stride cleaned up. Proud of our hitters, they really came through. A win is a win I guess. [wink]

If leaping doesn't give an advantage.....why do it?

Good question. Most leaps are supplemented with the replant. But Dallas Escobedo's was simply a pure leap, and it appeared Stewart was the same deal

Cajuns are now 3 and 1 against SEC teams this year. This one on the road against the #4 ranked team in the nation. Something The King of All Posts, (lefty), has said time and time again, was nearly impossible for the Cajuns to do. Hard fought battle. Maybe they will see each other again in a regional.

Then the next inning, she changes it up, and does not get called for it. Why not just start doing it legal from the jump. Just don't get it.

I said that winning three-game series on the road against SEC/Pac opponents has been a pipe dream.... go back and r-e-a-d

The three-game series is what separates the wheat from the chaff, and winning them against the Pac or SEC on the road is a helluva task

If ULL makes the WCWS this year, they will have changed this reality, having to win such a series on the road in supers

Way to parse your words King of All Posters. You must idolize Bill Clinton.

Texas A&M always looks better on paper than they play.  This season was looking to be different.  I have never liked the coach's focus on power hitting to the exclusion of solid singles hitters and slappers.  The Ragin Cajuns exposed A&M's weaknesses.  Anything less than a Super will be a disappointment for the Aggies.

Aww, lay off 3LT.   At least he doesn't flood the forums with endless grandiloquence regarding the school he roots for.   Unlike many, and I mean many,,, maybe even me.

Most leapers NEVER set a new point of impetus. Barnhill is a good example of this. Why not meander over to that big boy table you refer to and get us some video of Barnhill replanting.

Seems odd to criticize A&M's hitting approach after they scored 9 runs.

By the way, WHAT HAPPENED??  It was 11-2 and I stared watching hockey.  Yikes.

I'm the only one on here with the you know what enoughs to call him out. I'm not going away. So, in the meantime time just keep hanging onto his every word. And that's a lot. He's now up to 8,797 posts. About 70 today alone.

Don't really hang onto anyone's every word.  Not even my own.   And this forum is about posting.  Anyways, good win for the Cajuns.  Congrats.

Agree with your first sentence but, Barnhill is a classic example of a replant. Not every time but enough it's fairly easy to see. Her trail foot rarely touches the ground until she plants then her motion begins. Replant.

At least she is nowhere as bad as Carlson/Auburn. Any video of her pitching should be banned in 26 countries. Be interesting to see how the Umps address her in OKC.
