Louisiana jumping all over Texas State in game two 6-1 in the bottom of the second. DJ Sanders with the big blow with a grand slam home run, her 22nd. Still early, but the Cajuns are on fire today, taking the Bobcats to the cleaners so far this weekend.

Dj Sanders with two grand slams and 8 rbi's led the onslaught, as the Cajuns ripped the bobcat pitchers with a 14 hit barrage. Alex Stewart got the win. Not really, won the series on the road, and lost a close one in 8 inn.  Would have been nice to sweep, but Texas State is a very good team and did what they needed to do to pull out a close and well played 1 run game. Cajuns lose for the first time in conference, but are still 4 games up. All is good still down here in Cajun Country. [biggrin]

Yes, I saw it live. Impressive catch ... Zerangue took the perfect angle with her outstanding speed and was parallel to the ground.

Hello Brian...what happens to the top 8 rpi's tomorrow as the top 8 rpi's all lost 1 or 2 games, with 1, 3, 4 and 6 all with 3 losses now...and lost to good teams.

I am not computing the full RPI. Doing it for softball is difficult due to the lack of available accurate and complete game results for all D1 teams/games (available as data)). The NCAA does not make this data available. But I do compute the Cajuns' RPI from time to time ... along with projections.
