Louisiana Ragin Cajuns goes on the road and sweeps South Alabama in three games 8-3, 4-2 and 9-4.
Great job ladies, tough to do in mobile. D. J. Sanders with another huge weekend with 3 home runs, and Aleah Creighton with 2 homers also. Alex Stewart pitched very well, and seems to be back after a shaky start to the season. Let the good times roll Cajuns. Geaux Cajuns

Poor Devin Brown. One of the top 10 pitchers by CSM and will miss the NCAA tournament.

Yeah the Cajuns roughed her up pretty much, but offensively the jags are not as good this year, could be a rebuilding season for them. They have nobody that can take it yard or have to pitch around.

So brutal to see that your squad had to travel all the way to south Alabama for a hellacious three game road trip.  Those poor girls must be EXHAUSTED!!  Hope they get home soon.  All that travel is just so unfair.

"Sweetie" and a female menstruation reference used as pejoratives.  Could you get any more disgustingly sexist than that??  Your daughter would be so proud.

Go have fun somewhere else, we have played a lot of games over the years in some formidable top 10 teams venues. So what if we finally open the season playing a lot of home games, we have earned it.

Oh "honey", I'm gay. No children here. BUT, do tell me more about a child being disappointed in me when you're the spitting image of the drunk parent from rec ball? Always complaining about something while all the other parents pray your kid never plays again so they don't have to see you.

Ones sexual orientation is not an excuse for bigotry.

Not Louisiana's fault no one wants to play them. For the first road games they did very well. Let's see how the rest of the season goes. If they play like they have so far, I expect them to be top 10 by the end of year.

LOL please explain to me where (or how) identifying myself as a gay male was used as an "intolerance of an opinion differing from my own"? It was used to combat the comment of a child being ashamed of me, nothing else and nothing less. He/she/they used it as a way of shaming me for my opinion on their behavior and I kindly pointed elsewhere. But, continue, I'm getting my entertainment for the day after my teams offense missed the charter to Baton Rouge.

Scott Whittum and CSM don't have a clue. They still have So. Alabama making the tournament over TXSTATE who are 24-5 and a 29 rpi. Randi Rupp beat Devin Brown last year every time they went head to head.

I would honestly come close to selling my soul to have Randi Rupp on my team.

Cajuns and Texas ST. should be a good matchup this year in San Marcos. First time in years that I feel we could lose a series to them, instead of South Alabama. We pretty much have had our way with Rupp her freshman and Sophomore year, but maybe this could be the year she shines against us, hope not.

My concern with the series is TXSTATE has been winning by scoring 3 or fewer runs against good team for the most part. It's tough to hold the Cajuns to fewer than three runs even if Rupp is pitching well. The offense really needs to step up the second half of the season.

UGASBF - I knew George Michael and you sir/ma'am - indifferent are no George Michael. In fact I find your sexual preference claim to be ingenious. You would be better off leaving non-softball social political comments to me, your non-sexual superior. And may I buy you and yours a ticket to Baton Rouge. Please drop by Lafayette on your sojourner.

South Alabama has been rebuilding the offense since Haley Fagan left.

That's not the case. Mike wanted to play home games this year, primarily because he wanted to play at home. He will get back to scheduling road games again next season.

Incorrect. Most threads on this forum, just as on most message boards, get sidetracked.
