A Bunch of Seattle Media tried to hit Danielle:

Jerry Brewer (Seattle Times)

(also a video link to Brewer batting)

Jim Moore (Seattle PI)

I'd give my left nut for a chance to take a few swings against her.  That looks like fun.

It does look a lot easier than hitting a baseball doesn't it?  I loved some of the comments pertaining to the article. One poster said just put a half way decent high school or college baseball hitter up against her and she has no chance! HA HA Do you not realize that Jenny Finch has been striking PROFESSIONAL BASEBALL PLAYERS since she graduated from Arizona.

When will these young ladies get their due credit??

The great un-equalizer is the riseball. If you ever watch those Jennie Finch vs. MLBers clips, she's throwing riseball after riseball. Baseball Players are trained to track a ball starting high and finishing lower, not starting low and finishing high. Its not the gas that's the issue, though it certainly doesn't hurt, its the trajectory.
