Do any of you have information on which schools are recruiting her, as well as which schools is she showing the most interest in. I know there was some talk on the MN thread, but not much. It appears to me Lindaman hasn't been a big discussion when one would obviously think she would be.

Neither does Oklahoma. So how bad does she want that title?

Based on unreliable rumors and hearsay, from what I am hearing, Florida DOES appear to be the betting favorite.  Followed by Oregon.  Time will tell, but I would be pretty surprised if it wasn't one of those two.

You must be mistaken, Spazmom, ie: Compliance/Scholarship Spokesperson @ Florida has spoken. So has her peer @ OK TMZ, so they're out of the running also.

Please re-read my post outofzone, never said she’s going to OK. They don’t have enough money for her unless she decides she doesn’t need a full.

Wont be OU. She's visiting Oregon this week. That would be a good move. I'm sure ML would be really happy if she went there, this would be a major upgrade from the catcher who decided to leave Oregon.

Probably not an upgrade at all from Iakopo. Lindaman is 12/47 (.255) lifetime against top 25 rpi teams with 0 hr and a .702 OPS. Iakopo 16/55(.291) with 5hr and 1.018 ops against top 25, as a fr last year. Iakopo has a cannon for an arm as well.

Attacking a kid or calling a transfer an upgrade because said first kid left your beloved former PC high and dry is why so many people have trouble getting along with OU fans.

Mary Iakopo is a great kid. Missy Lombardi is a great coach and a great woman. BOTH can be true without the need to attack or belittle either of them.

WHAT?? Attacking a kid...come on man.

Just an opinion with facts to back it up. This is an opinion forum.

Yikes, who hurt you? All kidding aside, no one was attacked in my post. Lindaman is a 2X All American. Almost any coach would love to have her. That’s not taking anything away from Lakopo, but I can almost guarantee if coach Mike was still there he’d welcome Lindaman with open arms. I stand behind what I posted, not sure what being an OU fan has to do with it.

Full disclosure, I was actually responding to cjs4585. I read your post and would only disagree that she would be a major upgrade, IMO.

I posted facts about Lindaman's numbers compared to Iakopo's against top 25 opponents.

We can only conclude so far that lindaman has been great against mediocre competition and ok against very good competition.

There are a lot of players that get AA honors from weaker conferences, because the ncaa persists in the myth that anyone can win and there is parity, so anyone's numbers can be used for qualification regardless of schedule. That doesnt make them the best players at their positions, though.

I dont know if Lindaman would adjust and be a star if she were to go to OR. I think it would be a tall order. I do think she would help the ducks given their current situation, but I dont see anything suggesting she'd be an upgrade over Iakopo.

One thing is that Utah and Arizona State will see a degree of pitching dropoff, and I don't see any others of the bottom-five in the Pac improving their pitching.

I believe its between Florida and Oklahoma.  She's got the grades for academic money so might not need much athletic.  I don't know how academic grants work for transfer students, but either way I think they'll find the money to lure her in.

For example, Craighton from ULL to Az...massive drop off in numbers.

Three time all-american.

Gotta wonder how the current catchers at Oklahoma feel, but also how Hansen (the 2019 signee) must feel.

OU has now been rumored to have at least shown interest in: Kelly Martinez, Mary Iakopo, Terra McGowan, And Kendyl Lindaman.

Here is another you can harp on. Sanders from ULL to Oregon.
She too had a massive drop off in numbers.

       From a .388 ba to .281, 29 home runs to 16, 1.013 slg to .614,
       .524 ob to .389, 162 tb to 105 and 82 rbi to 51

Bet you forgot Craighton's home run won the game against
        the Sooners.

At a school like Oklahoma they are always going to have position battles because of the depth of talent but as of right now they only have one Catcher on schollie and that player is Elam. From what I've been told Oklahoma already has their second Catcher and it's none of those players mentioned.

You mean kinda like Statman's 2 run game winner against the Sooner's a year or 2 before that?
