She was named today as the Google Cloud Academic All-American of the Year. She has other options.

If that is the only 4 coaches you have ever seen dress down a player in front of others, then you must not watch many sporting events. God forbid should someone yell at a fragile 21 year old athlete. I can promise you that most, if not all D1 athletes have been yelled at by a coach at some point.

OMG, he chewed her out for throwing a fatty!  By all means she should transfer.  You crack me up!  Should there be a designated safe space in dugouts from now on?  #Snowflake.

With how this country is today I am sure there will be one soon, there will be a support peacock  included as well

I'm surprised the FSU chant hasn't been deemed as insensitive and banned yet

Thankfully the Florida Seminole Nation has officially sanctioned the FSU mascot and chant.

Actually it was in the Oklahoma game after Alo hit that towering homer in the first inning. But…carry on.

Well considering it's so new right now I don't believe a lot of people know about it. I'll give it a few weeks and check back.

doesn't walton's pitching coach call pitches? did barnhill just not follow instructions or was she unable to deliver?

and, hey, if she wants to transfer and sit out a year, clemson/ritter would probably take her.

Logically can’t he just give her a release before he leaves to Texas and then grab her up for Texas.

i don't know what the person was but any time someone says something of this magnitude there is truth to it. Just saying I'm 20 and every rumor I heard in school had a little bit of truth to it.

Pitchers make mistakes and miss their spots fairly often. Happens to even the very best. I'm not even sure you could say that pitch to Alo was "grooved." It looked low and a little inside to me – the kind of pitch that is favored by lefty hitters more than righties.

Jo Alo can drive balls out of the park that are thrown to any quadrant of the zone – even pitches out of the zone.

Softballjunkie223 -- you don't know if the person you heard it from is credible, and then you create an entire Thread?  Are you just friggin bored or something?

Delete this Thread if you don't know whether it is credible.  Delete it or every post you make after this, the reader will first say... Oh, THAT idiot.

Aren't you the genius who posted that Matty Moss was transferring from Tennessee last July?

I'll bet he wasn't yelling at her for giving up a home run. There had to be something she did or didn't do relative to the game situation. Heaven forbid he yell at a female athlete. Pat Summit would have never done such a thing.

geez, are you daft or something.  maybe i'll yell.  THAT WASN'T THE POINT.   THE POINT IS YOU CREATE THREADS WITHOUT KNOWING ANYTHING.  YOU CREATED A THREAD LAST JULY SAYING MATTY MOSS WAS LEAVING TENNESSEE. CREATING THAT THREAD, AND POSSIBLY THIS ONE,  IS WHAT IDIOTS DO.

I hear Dean's a real sweetheart at Auburn.  And since a bunch of people said Carlson was illegal, we're used to that part of it.  Come on up.

At least he’s dressing them down as opposed to undressing them like Corey Myers.

lmfao you're reading way too far into this. I posted it because people should know about it and lighten the blow when or if it's announced in the next few weeks/months.

No.  In fact his son just signed a scholarship to play BB at Santa Fe Comm College in Gainesville.  Walton's son is a pitcher.  Hard to see him leaving and not being able to drive across town to see his son play when he can.

No. People shouldn’t “know” when you have no idea if there is any truth to your statement.

There could be a million reasons.

JK. If TW leaves Gainesville and goes to Austin, where he will be ruled by the big-money donors if he wants to keep his job, I'll be the most surprised person north of the Red River.
