  • dewy underestimated white Americans.
  • He wrote off white, hardworking Americans.
  • dewy said the upper midwest belonged to the party of hate, the democrats.
  • dewy thought the illegal vote in California was enough to steal the election.
  • Don't underestimate the working man

Don't underestimate the changing demographics in the South either. However, the GOP has an opportunity to nullify the racial/ethnic identity politics of Dems by improving the upward mobility of everyone that was left behind.

I won't.  However, when the jobs in the South are matched with the workers in the South to provide upward mobility for ALL, the divisive rhetoric of the libtards will be drowned.  America's color is GREEN, Hamiltons, Benjamins and Franklins

That's the best part. The dems don't get it. They refuse to get it. They remain convinced of their intellectual and moral superiority lol. The dem party has devolved into a hodge podge mixed bag of freeloaders, white-guilters, illegals, sexually-obsessed, SJW, racists. What a sh1t show.

I don't agree with everything in that article, but on the whole, it was very good.  You mean we're not racists after all?

"Finally, the whitelash thesis is convenient because it absolves liberals of not recognizing how their own obsession with diversity has encouraged white, rural, religious Americans to think of themselves as a disadvantaged group whose identity is being threatened or ignored. Such people are not actually reacting against the reality of our diverse America (they tend, after all, to live in homogeneous areas of the country). But they are reacting against the omnipresent rhetoric of identity, which is what they mean by “political correctness.”

Most don't agree with 'everything' in that article.  One lib wrote

Quote:
Also, the reality is that, like it or not, many Americans do not like the changing face of the country. When speaking to them and glorifying diversity, anybody who wants to accomplish anything does so at the potential expense of winning their cause. As Hillary Clinton showed.

 they don't get it

I have pondered this post a few times, keep coming back to it.   Overall, top 10, concise, to the point, posts I have ever read here.

I have a theory that the Democrat party left the midwest, white union worker.  Their downfall perhaps[and a horrible candidate to boot]

Some wanna bring down the white man in this country, those some will bring down the country in their quest

Care to state what white man has harmed you, if one has?

Those wedge issues (gay marriage, partial birth, religious freedom) didn't help them in the Midwest either. Trump might not be hard line on these issues, but he wasn't jamming it down their throats either.

I don't recall seeing any, but heard Trump had some ads that used HRC's celebrity endorsements against her.

Very good point.  Wonder if the 'wedge issue' guy caught that

KIR thanks for the compliment on my 'they don't get it' post. Coming from you, that is quite an honor. You are indeed my huckleberry.  Makes me wish dewey was here to see us all basking in the warmth of a president-elect trump dawn.

From Politico no less.  That word smug [smugness] keeps popping up and we told dewy for years how smug and condescending he was.  Joisey ran interference for him and proved his bias.

On Nov. 8, it appears, the right decided it finally had enough of this smugness.

A good quote from this article....

"During the Clinton-Trump debates, liberals everywhere rolled their eyes at the embarrassment of a seasoned politician like Clinton needing to debate such an obviously ham-fisted opponent. Vox’s Emily Crockett put her finger on it with an article titled “Clinton's debate performance spoke to every woman who has had to humor an incompetent man.”
