I don't know. Would've liked to see her try to work out of that jam.Won't be the last. Maybe he didn't want to risk a NW explosion, and maybe wanted to see NB in a hot spot.

I have not looked in a few months, but hopefully Candrea has a stud pitcher coming in next year because I don't think McQuillan is it yet?

think he was too quick with the hook.
He pissed a few fans by his removal of #18.

I think the Cats are thinking McQ wil be the ace after Tooley graduates. I think Marissa Schuld (sp?) from Tucson Suncats comes on next year as a freshman.

How tall is she? she gets out there toward the plate. Looks like she's planting near the circles edge

Mauga homered yesterday off of Quinnipiac's Abby Long in the 4th. That's 8 this year and 75 in her career, one more to tie Jenny Dalton.

I don't think she will get the record but I hope I am wrong!!!  At this rate she will hit 24 IF she can keep this pace, which will leave her short...but it's only versus light pitching that she hits it out it seems.

Mauga was sat for the second game today and it looks like she was yanked in the first.  Motivation for Oklahoma or a warning towards a demotion?

Well why was she the only one who did not start then?  I think Candrea started his regs then subbed a whole new team?

Maybe she was ill or nursing some little injury. Arizona obviously didn't need her bat in the game.
