Dewey you have been the biggest Obama loving socialist supporting left wing hack on this forum for years. The world is in chaos thanks to your boy in office. His lack of any kind of foreign policy and his lack of any concern for anything outside of his own political ambition and his socialist utopia dream has not only led to the empowerment of Islamic terrorists all over the world, but it has now flooded our boarders with hundreds of thousands of women and children who have come here for a free ride. Just think maybe we can have an epidemic of Measles, Mumps, Polio, or who knows what else these kids will bring in. Not to mention the criminals that this administration let loose.
How will you feel when ISIS take over and kill the hundreds of Americans we have holed up in our Iraq Embassy? Obama says he won't go get them out of there because it is too politically sensitive!
Dewey, YOU and your liberal freeloading friends who put this guy in office and continue to support him while he shreds our constitution, are to blame for the chaos.
Like I said, sleep well.

By the way, what is our fearless leader doing while everything is going to hell in a handbag? Playing golf in California! While Americans are fearing for their lives in our Iraq Embassy, and Mexican gang members are walking across the boarder, Obama is working on his golf game.

GrizzlyFan - You would think one would be even more eager to debate their perspective against that of a Democrat in order to persuade the American people to think twice about how they cast their vote.  You're certainly not going to win anyone over calling all those who don't think like you "hacks".  And people who might like that, you already have.

Let me share my concerns as I remember them.  It all started with a butterfly ballot in Florida in 2000, which managed to confuse tens of thousands of voters and turned a certain Democrat win into a GOP Presidential victory.  Right from the beginning we managed to turn a surplus in our budget into a large deficit and the rising debt in America was off and running again.  Soon after, we made the unfortunate decision a second war was the thing to do, despite our forces already being used in Afghanistan, and an invasion of Iraq began.  We could now add a second costly war that we can't ask the American people to pay for and must instead charge it for our children to pay.

Memory tells me this was followed by a collapsing financial system, collapsing stock market, hundreds of thousands of jobs lost monthly, millions put out of work altogether, and the greatest recession of our lifetimes.  As if these disastrous times weren't enough, soon it's discovered we're now a Country that has turned to "torture" as acceptable interrogation and warrant-less surveillance as necessary for security.  Top it all off with a SCOTUS formed in a more Conservative manner, thus prepared to later vote to call money the same as speech with a certainty to corrupt our system further with the influx of unlimited funds to buy political power, and 2008 with a Democrat President couldn't come soon enough for millions and millions of Americans.

Maybe we can debate if we should blame the previous Administration for all that went wrong but one thing is for certain, they weren't able to anticipate and maybe stop even one of these disasters from actually coming to fruition.  Not one that I can remember.  For that I blame a Party that has little interest in governing and no interest in a Federal Government having success because of the impact it may have on their desire to criticize and shrink it.

I spelled out what I'm happy this President has accomplished back in 2012, here, and took some personal attacks because of it.  Since then, it's clear many Countries are searching for more of their own freedoms, or power, and this has led to some tough times in many places.  I know you hang the blame on this President for turmoil in these Countries, turmoil that I believe the US can do little about.  I don't agree with this blame but I understand it's a tool you can't help but use.  Instead, I see it as a sign of the times where citizens around the world are clamoring for change and I'm smart enough to know change often comes at a steep price.  Nonetheless, whatever the problem might be that takes place anywhere on this globe, I know full well your side will find a way to blame President Obama.  Not a surprise five plus years in that it continues and it should be no surprise to you that the days of me losing sleep over those who don't like this President ended years ago.

PS:  I wasn't at Angel Stadium today but the father of three of my granddaughters was on mounted police security duty.  And I'm proud to say so.

Here's some good news for liberal Democrats - Obama's failure to enforce immigration laws is allowing known gang members members to enter the US.

But don't worry folks, if they do anything bad here, we have Mounties to protect us.

Dewey I could easily refute pretty much everything you just said, but instead let me sum it up this way.
Every bad thing that happened while Bush was president was Bush's fault. Yet everything bad that happens while Obama is president is either Bush's fault, Republicans fault, or just a sign of the times.
I think that pretty much sums up your opinion.
A partisan hack is someone who, like yourself, will defend their guy in spite of the facts. For instance, when 7 million people leave the workforce because they can't find a job, a partisan hack would claim that Obama helped millions to an early retirement.
Or when Obama lies to the American people on national TV 30 times and tells them they can keep their insurance if they like it, a partisan hack says it was not a lie, he just used the wrong words.
I could go on and on, but the fact is, YOU Dewey are an Obama loving socialist supporting left wing hack.

GrizzlyFan - You need to search out a forum made up of all Conservatives.  You should find a place where your ideas and accusations will not be challenged.  A place where discussion is drowned out by personal attacks.  I think you should find a crowd where many have a little drool coming down the side of their mouth.  Only then, I'm guessing, will your stress be lessened and your sleep patterns improved.

There are folks out there who say we need to significantly decrease our social efforts at feeding and clothing the needy.  There are folks out there who want to make voting more difficult by reducing days and locations one can make their voice be heard.  There are folks out there who promote more citizens carrying weapons into our recreation centers and restaurants.  To the shock of many, we even have folks out there who think we should deliberately search out the children of our enemy and slaughter them for the purpose of deterrence or some other ultimate statement.  I can only tell you, and all those who oppose those who think as I do, there are millions more just like me who fear such a mindset finding its way into our executive branch and it must be clear by now we'll do anything within our rights to see this does not happen.  It makes one wonder how many decades it might take for some of you to accept and deal with this fact.

As usual, more lunacy from the socialists. It's not that conservatives don't want to help those legitimately in need of help, it is in this instance that we don't want to deliberately add to our burden until we have our own financial health in order. We are over $17 TRILLION in debt, sinking deeper into debt every year, and needlessly exacerbating that situation doesn't bode well for our future.

The US has been throwing money at poverty for decades, and we're still mired in poverty. The approach of just giving poor people sustenance hasn't solved the problem. Opening the borders isn't going to solve the problems we are facing.

Dewey you would LOVE for me to leave this forum because that would be one less person pointing out your mind numbing adherence to the very policies that are destroying our country.
Over 70% of DEMOCRATS are for voter ID. (80% of all Americans are for it) YOU and the hard core socialist in your party are dead set against it because you know that all of the illegals who are flooding in will vote democrat.
You can not win a real debate or answer tough questions so you set up a straw man with idiotic statements like "we even have folks out there who think we should deliberately search out the children of our enemy and slaughter them for the purpose of deterrence or some other ultimate statement. " Then you go on to make your case against this straw man.
Well here's one for you. There are many in the democrat party who support NAMBLA (North American Man Boy Love Association) They want to make it legal for men to have sex with little boys. To quote a not so wise man, "I can only tell you, there are millions more just like me who fear such a mindset finding its way into our executive branch and it must be clear by now we'll do anything within our rights to see this does not happen.  It makes one wonder how many decades it might take for some of you to accept and deal with this fact."

GrizzlyFan - I have no interest in whether you stay or leave this forum.  I simply asked if you're going to stop by, don't simply take a shot at me, get me to begin an exchange, and then disappear on me.  That likely wastes your time and it definitely wastes mine.  (By the way, how does an undocumented immigrant register to vote without an ID?)

If you don't want any part of a discussion with me, then I'm confused as to why you so often call me out by name.  You egg me on and then I don't know what happens to you.  Please stop doing that if you don't seriously want to engage.  I'm tired of preparing for the bout only to find a no show or going one round and you saying "no mas".

Finally, the other day you answered a list of my questions by saying, "I'll say what he said."  Now you're responding to my post by repeating my words back to me.  I think if you want to participate in a forum, where influence is being peddled, you should speak from your own mind, and your own heart, and make a sincere effort to personally reach those to whom you are speaking.

Dewey, if I agree with every thing Woody said, what is the point of me answering in my own words? Unlike you and your liberal democRAT friends, I have a job and don't have time to sit in my moms basement on the computer all day.
You used to have some credibility several years ago, but you have since turned into a partisan hack. Most of the conservatives on here express their disappointment with Republican leaders when they stray from our conservative values. You on the other hand, will defend Obama even when he is caught in a bold face lie.
I have no interest in debating with someone who is as intellectually dishonest as you. I do however enjoy posting FACTS and watching you dance around them even though you try to swear off responding to me.

Since it's popped it's ugly head twice in the last few days, not unlike the 2006 election cycle, it should be highlighted for the benefit of our readers.  The other day it was suggested I, and I think anyone who supports President Obama, supported child molestation and today GrizzlyFan is trying to say many Democrats support NAMBLA, another child endangering organization.  Clearly these are smear accusations, without an ounce of truth, and it's the kind of thing we've come to expect from some, (I won't say many), on the Right.  It's pure desperation and likely born from a very deep anger over this President and/or this Party.  For the sake of the vast majority of our Conservative readers, who I know would make no such charge, it's not a blanket reprimand by any means as I too have many personal Conservative friends who would never suggest anything of the kind.

Edit:  Grizzly, I do know you enjoy it when I pay you some attention and, on this we'll agree, I probably shouldn't give you the satisfaction of my response as often as I do.  However, I always hold out hope a conversation of some value might actually break out.  Nonetheless, don't claim you haven't time to engage as you've found enough time in your basement to start many topics and I see a half dozen or so come with zero replies.

Dewey you said" To the shock of many, we even have folks out there who think we should deliberately search out the children of our enemy and slaughter them for the purpose of deterrence or some other ultimate statement."
And you tried to lay that at the feet of Republicans.
In order to show you how absurd that statement was I said that many democrats are in favor of NAMBLA. So now you say "Clearly these are smear accusations, without an ounce of truth, and it's the kind of thing we've come to expect from some, (I won't say many), on the Right."
This is a great example of you being intellectually dishonest and why debating with you is a waste of time.
You accuse Republicans of wanting to slaughter children of our enemy then get offended when I mention NAMBLA. When in fact if it were not for gay members of the democrat party, NAMBLA would have never been formed!

GrizzlyFan - That's woody's position and I can't recall you or any other Conservatives inside here criticizing his opinion.  Now do you have a similar quote from a member inside here supporting your accusations?

woody:
No. After repeatedly torturing these bad boys, and their extended family, and their
associates, and their extended families, and their money handlers, and their extended
families, and collecting valuable intelligence,

Lots of influence to be gained against really bad people, when you butcher their money
man's families in front of the money man's eyes.   Hunt those people down, kill their
families in front of their eyes, and then execute them.

Would a Humanist object to killing that bankers entire family as well? If not, then you
have surrendered to the enemy that will ultimately control, and kill your Grandchildren.

Before killing them, I would torture their children, wives, and family members in front of them and obtain intelligence information.

Another classic example of the one who cries the most for civility taking a sly dig at conservatives. We are the drooling mouth breathers.
Just like democrat politicians that will never speak publicly of their true party platform, but parade around the banner of caring for the little man while shackling that same man to government servitude.

spazsdad - Can you see the difference between saying Democrats are retarded, uncaring, and stupid as compared to saying "Dewey, you are stupid"?  Or Dewey you are disgusting and Dewey you are dishonest?"  I see a clear difference.  Besides, I said a "crowd", where many will have a strong desire to criticize Obama every day, (drool).  Yes, I think there are those out there with this drool of spewing their disgust with this man every single day but they don't run in my crowd of Conservative friends.  I certainly wasn't suggesting all Conservatives are part of this crowd.  You can guess on your own the kind of folks I'm thinking of but it's a far cry from a personal attack on another member.  I'm called a socialist loving left wing hack and I can't suggest to someone they might better enjoy a different crowd?  Nice try to finding something a bit more unpleasant then I generally post, after being personally attacked for the umpteenth time, and turning it into more than it was.

Let me tell you something.  woody doesn't have very nice things to say about Democrats but he rarely says anything personally disparaging directly at me.  Same with mikec.  Are you able to recognize the distinction?  For some reason you've decided to try very hard to paint me in the same picture as these personal attack artists.  Not sure why.

Yep, I said it. And I will say it again. We should take a fillet knife to the Children of the Jihads, their Money Men, their handlers. Every person that joined in to finance the bad boys, would have their children skinned alive in front of them, and then they would see their whole family executed in front of them one by one. This is the overwhelming brute force the Jihads, and their fanciers understand, and respect. If they stay back in the shadows, and profit they smile. Butcher their children in front of them, get the intelligence you need, and proceed up the food chain. These guys only respect brutal overwhelming force. I propose we give it to them on a very close and personal level. We don't need carrier task groups. We don't need a 150,000 troops on the ground. We just need a financial incentive for a group of highly trained individuals who would be given back door intelligence, and turn them loose. Plausible deniability. We don't know who those 20 middle eastern looking guys were that just took out half of the known financial backers of terrorism in a 3 month period. Who is doing this?? Wow, what a shocker, 6 months later, several nation states are without leadership. All the Mullahs have disappeared, gone into hiding. None of the heads of the central banks in this region are anywhere to be found, and they and their families have vanished. What's up with that??

Dewey, when you take one persons opinion and then say that is the entire party, followed by your concern that it could reach the White House if we elect Republicans, it is no more far fetched for me to say I am concerned that NAMBLA will be supported by a democrat president.
I know you don't pick up very quickly on this stuff but try to understand when someone illustrates absurdity by being equally absurd.
As for the personal insults, one would think that you would consider it a compliment to be called an Obama loving socialist supporting left wing hack. You DO love Obama. You do support his socialist agenda. You do defend him even when he is caught telling the same lie 30 times. So by definition you would be an Obama loving socialist supporting left wing hack.

Grizzly - Do you read my posts or just make up what you think you read.  I never apply anybody's thoughts to an entire Party.  I have no idea how rampant woody's thoughts are in the Libertarian wing of the Party.  Nobody in here distanced themselves from his comments so I'm not sure who agrees or disagrees with woody.  How about you?  In any event, I included several mindsets, like those who want to decrease our efforts to help the needy, reduce voting days, and increase right to carry laws as all part of my comment regarding a certain mindset I didn't want to see in the office of the President.  You in turn jumped to some extreme mindset you think Democrats have and then couldn't substantiate even one significant Democrat out there or one Democrat in here to support your claim. As I said, an offensive and completely fabricated accusation.

PS:  If you think you have any idea what a political hack is, why won't you answer my question in the other thread?
