If you honestly believe that CNN is a legitimate news source, then there is no helping you.  They have proven to be not only completely biased to the left but have engaged in tactics designed to help the Democrats - i.e. Donna Brazile.

This is the first bullet point in the Dem playbook. Always claim you tried and then you have no accountability for failure. This is always followed by requests for additional funding because more money solves incompetence.

Only CNN, right?

I'd guess 45% of rightists favor deporting all or most DACA individuals and 55% of rightists support giving them legal status.  What's a Congress or President to do?

Not really sure.  Would not surprise me.  Trump has long said he does not see us putting on jack boots, kicking in these doors and hauling off dreamers.

The order, for like the 100th time is,
- get rid of criminal illegals immigrants by deporting them immediately.
- stop influx of illegal immigrants overrunning our poorest neighborhoods, poorest schools, poorest hospitals.
- get rid of illegal immigrants that are living off the welfare system.
- it it ended there it would be fine, the rest is bonus.
- figure out what to do with long term well employed dreamers.
- figure out what to do with long term well employed illegals.

Those final two could well be served by a system that looked a lot like our current immigration system.

Most educated and smartest are allowed to apply in place.  Get a sponsor, pay a fine and immigrate in place.

Can't get a sponsor, you get to pay a fine and enter a queue for quickened immigration process.

Anyway none of it matters. Ryan said he will not be doing anything with illegal immigration.  That no one wants anything done.  Someone could take some time and explain that at some point.

Hey Dewey - stop with the "guesses" that are meant to actually put an idea in the reader's head.  Aside from the fact that nobody has ever used the term "rightist" and you're only using it as a response to the legitimate use of the term "leftist", only a small percentage of conservatives support mass deportations.

And please stop using this ridiculous handle and just come out from hiding.  It's tiresome.

Well, this will be fun.  I guess Hannity will be pro-amnesty tomorrow at 10.

"We agreed to enshrine the protections of DACA into law quickly, and to work out a package of border security, excluding the wall, that's acceptable to both sides," Pelosi and Schumer said in a joint statement.

Oh mike.

"President Donald Trump had a constructive working dinner with Senate and House minority leaders, Chuck Schumer and Nancy Pelosi, as well as administration officials to discuss policy and legislative priorities,” the statement said. “These topics included tax reform, border security, DACA, infrastructure and trade. This is a positive step toward the president’s strong commitment to bipartisan solutions for the issues most important to all Americans. The administration looks forward to continuing these conversations with leadership on both sides of the aisle.”

For what reason would a forum moderator use dual handles? Would not that be rule #1 in a forum? Please management stop the dual handles used by dewy and KPI.

Trump wants to be loved and get sh it done. Everyone knew he wasn't a R. He sees that the party he ran under wants nothing to do,with him. He will do whatever it takes to get sh it done. Whatever it is that he can stake a claim to.
F the whole Republican Party and its leadership. They have been handed a once in a lifetime opportunity and all they want to do is have cocktails and bang interns.
Disgusted by the whole lot, the process, and our government.

all the conservatives (or fakers anyways) are purged, and his whole crew is now libs, led by his top advisers - minime daughter and husband.

you are blaming GOP because he is embracing his inner liberal?

Your anger is misplaced.

No worries. I just figured that since they were being quoted after dinner, they were probably drunky and their accuracy may have been tainted. Both of them are alki's. Of course, Donald was stone cold sober.

He likes him big government.  Likes the illegal immigrants coming in a lowering wages as well.  Tells everyone else they are not conservative enough cause they won't martyr themselves up on the stake of abortion, or gay marriage, or ...

Most of us just want the government in our lives a little less.  We want those that are in this country to get a shot at a good paying job.   Nothing McConnell or Ryan is doing has anything to do with that.  Been that way in eGOP circles for a long time.

Beget the Tea Party Revolution, when that pissed out, we did the Trump thing.  No reason at this point not to keep trying.  $20T in debt.  Republicans can only get 40 votes for anything at this point.  Always cut each other down.  We are left wishing Boehner would come back.  Get good and red nose drunk.  Declare healthcare could have been a bigger loss that it was.   The good old days.

so again, you and spaz would blame the GOP for trump legalizing amnesty in a deal with Pelosi/schumer?

There is some pushback from WH this eve, and Hannity and Ingraham are losing their minds, so maybe he'll walk it back.

But, blaming the GOP for trump going hard left is silly.
