"The recent measles outbreak in Minnesota, which was confined to 20 members of the Somali community in Hennepin County, part of the Minneapolis-St. Paul metropolitan area, has now spread across the state.

The Minnesota Department of Health reports the state’s measles outbreak has spread from Hennepin County to Stearns County, totaling 29 cases, marking a new record.”

"Show me your papers" law.

Why don't libtards like BAMA CF support Kate's Law?

Another kick in the sack for American Citizens.

"A school district in Washington state banned all international travel in late April, siding with illegal alien students over citizens and legal immigrants.

Kent School District decided during a school board meeting that all international trips were canceled because border agents might detain and deport illegal alien students on the return trip from a foreign country.

“It comes down to one word. Equity. We recognize, when we were able to look at things, that for years we’ve been offering these trips, but by definition our students who are undocumented can’t cross the border,” administrator Chris Loftis said, according to KOMONews.com.

American kids and legal immigrants in a school district invaded by illegal aliens must sacrifice their educational experiences for illegal aliens, Loftis said, for “the greater good.”

“Sometimes as a culture and a society we have to sacrifice as individuals for the greater good, and we feel that’s the case here,” he added.

The move was especially cruel to students in the high school band at Kentlake High School, who were eagerly looking forward to their traditional trip to play in Victoria, British Columbia and had prepared for the performance all year.

“I do not want to know if someone is undocumented or not. But their feelings should not influence the decision of letting 250 other students go that have been going to this for years,” one student told the Seattle Times.

Over 1 million so far into Germany, with over 500k being supported by taxes on the working class. I wonder how this will turn out.

"Over half a million asylum seekers now receive some kind of welfare benefit from the German state. In neighboring Austria, the migrant unemployment rate is now over 20 per cent.

The numbers come from the German Federal Agency for Employment (BA) are were announced earlier this week. The statistics come as many still worry about the ability of the over one million migrants who came to Germany during the migrant crisis to integrate into the German job market."

The French have only themselves to blame for the conditions they've allowed to proliferate.  They decided it was tolerable and defeated Le Pen soundly.

They will still come back to us crying for help.  Pointing back to the fact that they helped us during the Revolution, although they did it more to screw the British than to help America.

Just not sure there is much we can do for them this time.  Their incessant pursuit of communist 5hitholedom and now allowing millions of arab and africans take over every aspect of their country.

3/4 of A MILLION PEOPLE. Totally unsustainable.

"Nearly 740,000 people, more than the population of Alaska, overstayed their U.S. visas last year, the Homeland Security Department said Monday.

A large percent of those were students and foreign exchange visitors — 79,818 — who were supposed to leave in 2016 but didn’t.

China had the largest number of student overstays, followed by Saudi Arabia, South Korea, India and Brazil, the department said."

Another example of why Trump was the right choice in 2016.

"Salvadoran authorities have held emergency meetings and proposed new legislation to monitor returning criminals and gang members that are returning to El Salvador after deportation, according to the Washington Post.

The move by Salvadoran officials comes as a direct result of the Trump administration’s crackdown on illegal immigration and efforts to deport more criminal illegal aliens from the U.S.

This year the U.S. has already deported 398 gang members back to El Salvador – compared to only 534 for all of 2016.

It is due to this rapid increase in deportations that Salvadoran officials like Héctor Antonio Rodríguez, the director of the country’s immigration agency, are worried about the impact the returning gang members will have in the country.

“This clearly affects El Salvador. We already have a climate of violence in the country that we are combating,” Rodríguez said. “If gang members return, of course this worries us.”

Many of the returning gang members belong to MS-13, a notoriously violent street gang that has plagued communities throughout the U.S. with horrific acts of violence. Although MS-13 started out in Salvadoran communities in Los Angeles sometime during the 1980’s, lax immigration policies and weak border security helped the gang explode in size as MS-13 originated from illegal immigrants.

The recent murders of four teens in New York City have put MS-13 in the national spotlight with Attorney General Jeff Sessions declaring that U.S. authorities are going after the gang.

The MS-13 motto is kill, rape, and control,” Sessions said. “I have a message to the gangs that are targeting our young people: We are targeting you. We are coming after you.”

A very interesting read on immigration, regardless of you political leanings. Me likem history, me likem states rights as well, as long as all the other states don't have to pay for an individual state's ignorant ass decisions.

Another example of trump trying to do what he said during the campaign that he would do. Of course he will be stymied by congress, and then will be blamed by the libs and nevertrumpers for not doing anything. And so it goes.

"President Trump announced Wednesday night that he will soon ask Congress to pass legislation banning immigrants from accessing public assistance within five years of entering the U.S.

“The time has come for new immigration rules that say ... those seeking immigration into our country must be able to support themselves financially and should not use welfare for a period of at least five years," Trump told a campaign-style rally in Grand Rapids, Iowa.

Trump's proposal would build on the Personal Responsibility and Work Opportunity Reconciliation Act of 1996, which allows federal authorities to deport immigrants who become public dependents within five years of their arrival. Many of that law’s provisions were rolled back during the George W. Bush and Barack Obama administrations, but Trump's proposal would make more categories of federal benefits off-limits to immigrants."

Why do nevertrumpers and dems want to give our hard earned dollars to law breaking immigrants?  I just do not see how this does not kill them in the eyes of real hard working Americans.

Look to Hungary and Poland for their answers to illegal immigrants

Please clarify which laws they broke because Trump is not talking about illegals.

I'm curious what Trump has in mind for this legislation since PRWORA's 5-year ban on federally-funded assistance is apparently still in place, although there are some exceptions (see below) that could be rescinded. Many states are funding assistance to immigrants not eligible for the federally-funded programs and I wouldn't want Feds to step on their rights even though I don't agree with what they're doing.
https://aspe.hhs.gov/basic-report/overview-immigrants-eligibility-snap-tanf-medicaid-and-chip#Overview

"Immigrants exempt on humanitarian grounds include refugees and asylees; individuals granted withholding of deportation or removal; Cuban and Haitian entrants; Amerasians (Vietnamese Amerasians granted lawful permanent residency under a special statute); since 2000, victims of severe human trafficking; and, since 2007, Iraqi and Afghan special immigrants."

I think the path that Trump is considering here is using the already in place law, but just applying it more thoroughly through an EO, with some enforcement.

This is not to get applied to US citizens, I believe.  But to persons that are some status, green card, etc.   When you come to US on a work based process, like green card but not student or vacation visa,  you must have a sponsor.  That sponsor and the immigrant sign an agreement that the immigrant will present no financial burden on the United States.

I have been through this with a number of immigrants.  If they work and stay employed all is fine.  They quit, or stomp off mad, you as a sponsor are more or less responsible to buy that immigrant a one way ticket home.   In a small company when this come up we had legal agreement with the immigrant in question that he would forfeit a small 2k bond, that we created from a draw on their first few paychecks.  This was all before Obama, and Bush.  It came up a lot more often.

So Trump is merely going to use the fact that you apply for welfare, as an indication that they are not maintaining their status  green card, student, vacation, whatever status.   Then scheduling them for an ICE visit.  That is what I think is going on.  I think it might even be a precondition on maintaining status that you not file for welfare, maintain steady employment, not commit crimes (even misdemeanors).

Obama really made a mess of immigration in this country in 8 short years.

We are not committed to keeping the poor of the world fed on the left's terms.  We are good hearted people more than willing to help out in a lot of ways, but we do not have to withstand a forced invasion.

http://http://www.migrationpolicy.org/news/leaked-draft-possible-trump-executive-order-public-benefits-would-spell-chilling-effects-legal

Agree on states rights.  But have a concern there as well.  Seems really unfair the left is always willing to take the power of the Federal government and force expenditures.  Look at the number of Police departments under federally mandatted DOJ supervisions.  Look at all the school districts that are under federal mandates.    Seems there should be some relief for people in those states on being forced to pay for immigrants, which they are clearly not supposed to be paying for.  Hopefully normal efforts from the federal government will get these guys to quit throwing all our tax dollars away on their agendas.  If not, then some compromise will be required.

WTF? He said he's going to ask Congress to pass legislation.

I just reread the quote EG posted and see the last line explained it. Mea culpa for getting caught up with the first part...

I understand your frustration, however the Right course is to rollback those Federal incursions.

BTW, I noticed you didn't respond to my request for clarification on which laws they broke.

Again, not about law. About status, and requirements immigrants must meet to maintain status.  If you do not maintain status, you are subject to deportation.

If you break status, and remain, then yes, you are illegal and breaking the law.  Maybe that helps.
