Last year when seedings were announced, lots were disagreeing with the decision to not have Minnesota be a regional host.

What do you think we'll be talking about this Sunday?

I expect the SEC to go 12/13. Ole Miss or Mizzou won’t make it. Just have a feeling

Hopefully a 17 team like Auburn won't be a No. 2 at the Oregon-UCLA-Washington regional, like they did Baylor to Oregon in 2016

I'm calling my shot. I think Florida State gets bumped from the top 8. Maybe by South Carolina. Less likely by LSU.

And the 13-16 seeds are such a tangled mess, I'm sure however they sort it out is going to tick someone off.

And someone else will be hot because Michigan is in their regional.

I have had FSU outside the top 8 the past two weeks... just a gut feeling. Not by a Hoover-less LSU, though

Arizona State's win over UCLA makes them a lock for top 8 along with Oreg, Fla, UCLA, OU, and Wash. The last 2 will come from Tenn, FSU, and So Caro. Tough call. Tenn has the most impressive resume' of the 3 and that's not really debatable. But So Caro in is close and swept 3 games from Tenn. And FSU has been great all season, is ahead of both in the RPI, and matches up with them in every resume' category (record, SOS, top 50 wins) except top 25 wins, where they are well short of the other 2. But they have wins over Oregon and Florida.

My guess:
7 Tennessee
8 FSU (unless SC wins the SECT tomorrow then SC). One will host the other in Supers.

As the last few, looks to me like
13 Bama
14 Texas A&M
15 Arkansas
16 Auburn (unless Baylor beats OU tomorrow, then Baylor in Aub out)

I think if Florida wins the SECT they will definitely get the 3 seed ahead of OU and likely the 2 seed.

Last year, I thought the regional hosts were pretty well done. I had AL and MN swapped and UCLA 4, WA 5 and FSU 6 but everything else the same. I couldn't get some of the regional pairings, though. 6th seed WA got MI (#20). 7th seed(Auburn) got #23 (Cal). 14 seed (KY) got #27 (ILL). 12 seed (Ole Miss) got #26 (ASU). I suspect they'll be more complaints about the 1-2 regional match ups.

Missouri will be in the NCAAT. They are not on the bubble even. They have the #23 RPI, the 3rd toughest strength of schedule in the nation, 2 wins over top 10, 6 wins over top 25, and 11 wins over top 50. And we aren't talking about hosting here, we are talking about making the Tournament. Missouri will be in the tournament, and they will be a 2 seed.

Ole Miss is the only SEC team which could be left out, but I doubt it given their 4 wins over top 10 teams.

It was a poor job by the Committee. But of course Oregon beat Baylor 5-0 and 8-1, like step children.

I will go with UCLA fans being mad that Florida got the 2 seed.

I am convinced Bama is gonna be paired up to have to go to Oklahoma for Super Regional. And if somehow that's not how it goes, it will almost certainly be UCLA or Florida or Oregon (but I'm pretty sure we won't be 16 so I doubt Oreg). But obviously none of those are desirable - LOL. I  hardly see any way it's not 1 of those 3, and probably OU.

However, the Committee always does 1 or 2 things at least that I would have thought "no way that happens", so I am using that to keep my hopes up that we magically get paired with Washington. And they whipped us twice at our place last year and twice at their place this year. I still think that is a more winnable series than 1 of the top 4.

Norman's a great place this time of year.

The first thing I root for is for Oregon to make OKC. Then FSU. Then, I root for certain kids, and root against certain coaches...unfortunately sometimes on the same team.

In all honesty, this FSU team is ok, but last years team was much better, and they couldn't even get to OKC.

Baylor’s loss to TTU today can’t help their chances to host.

I did not know that until I saw your post. Baylor will not host.

13  Bama
14 Tex A&M
15 Arkansas
16 Auburn

is my projection. Kentucky will be considered, but Aub swept them, has better record and more to 25 and 50 wins (but Ky has much tougher schedule). Regardless, the sweep would seal it for Aub. You could have a legit debate between Ark and KY. But I'm sticking with the above. Baylor will be the 2 seed at 1 of those.

I'm guessing Kentucky to FSU and Miss St to Arizona.

Wow.  At this rate, Baylor will play iOWA STATE for the title.  Cyclones on fire early in OKC.

Wow. Pretty shocking that Iowa State took a 4-0 lead. It's now 4-3. Wonder who will win?  heehee. By the way, Iowa State has to win by 8 runs to meet Baylor in the title game. I'm thinking nah

How do you figure Georgia above LSU?

Overall record:  UGA 43-11, LSU 41-14
SEC regular season record:  UGA 16-8 (2nd place), LSU 13-10 (5th place)
Record vs top 10 teams:  UGA 4-3  LSU 1-8
Record vs top 25 teams: UGA 16-8, LSU 15-12
Record vs top 50 teams: UGA 19-10, LSU 20-13

Different question: how do you figure LSU over UGA?
