I did not see a good place for this, so started a new thread.

This is a Native American Indian that served in the Army, returning home.  His tribal elders greet him and honor him.  Rodeo announce Bob Tallman was able to capture this video at the Billings Montana Airport.

At the ATL airport, the USO welcomes home soldiers.  There is a very long escalator that comes up from the tram below ground, and folks stand at the top and applaud and shake hands with service members returning.  It is great to see.

I've been lucky enough to be there a couple of times.

I wish folks like blue had gotten that welcome when they came home.

I have a friend deploying to Iraq for 9 months on Thursday. I've known the young man since birth, known his Dad for a very long time. Godspeed to Denton

USO is one of our charities of choice on a yearly basis. Sometimes the USO is an oasis for a service man or woman a long way from home and they provide the service member calling cards for phone calls home.

Blue - it's a uso deal, but tons of bystanders join in. It creates a ruckus, and sometimes even more people join in.

I love it, and they deserve it. I just happened to be a bystander a couple of times, and jump in.

Lots of soldiers come through that airport, and they are warmly received.

I tried to pick up the meal tab for a traveling Marine at Bush Intercontinental Airport and was told I was the 3rd person to have already offered to do so.
