Good thread topic. The hypocrisy on all sides is a real mess. Dems like to say 'obama's gone, hillary lost, trump's the focus now', and I get their point. The problem is, from the right's perspective, the left didn't say a word while obama/hillary were doing all sorts of jacked up things, so it's disingenuous when they now complain about things they were previously silent on.

And the right would have gone apesh1t if obama/hillary had done some of the wack stuff that trump has said/done since taking office. Trump often creates what appears to be unnecessary damage to his leadership. His statements during, and after the putin meeting, were not helpful.

I suspect that one explanation for the hypocrisy is that obama supporters were unvaried in their reasons they supported obama; they were unable to ever state anything critical about his decisions, and are smug arrogant folks who are convinced they are smarter than you and I. They are driven by emotion and overreact to failure. They don't recognize hypocrisy when it is them.

Trump supporters, however, are quite varied in their reasoning. They hate liberal socialism, and/or knew hillary would doom the chance for a constitutionally conservative SC, and/or just wanted to blow the whole political-establishment up. Those are three very different justifications. They don't see it as being hypocritical to still support trump no matter what stupid sh1t he says, because their goal (reason they supported trump) is still being achieved. They are also (for the most part  [wink]   able to be critical of trump when he does something that is seemingly insane.

Any way you slice it, the economy is really catching fire. I just returned from rural Indiana. There were "Help Wanted" signs everywhere. Everywhere. Every person I spoke with supported trump and despised the coastal liberals. The raw difference of philosophy and perspective was profound. I am convinced that the coastal leftists like dew/fresh/kazoo/terp/dc and their 'celebrity' cabal have no f*cking idea of the amount of folks who despise them.

IMO, not yet.  Many, including the fly-by-night lefties we have here, are still blaming Russia for the loss.  Michael Moore is the only lefty I have seen who gets it, and nobody listens to him.

There is just no leadership on the Dem side.  The Clintons gutted it to try to keep the deck clear for Hillary.  Now they are trying to suppress any new leadership coming in a lame approach to try and stretch Hillary in one last time.

He may be in a hospital for illness or in rehab. That’s the only things I know that would keep him quiet. Or a staggering election loss.
