We desperately need TBallMVP's take on this latest incident.

So when was the last time the freshmen pitchers pitched a game? Let alone in a 3 game series?

When it rains it pours. She was not going to keep her nose clean and was a wild bull in a china shop. Her career is done now and her defining moment was getting in a little shove with Walton. See ya.

Ole Miss two weekends ago.  Gave up 3 earned runs in 3 innings.  She's basically been Martin's cleanup this season.

Need your program trashed? Dial.... F-A-G-A-N. Fagan crowd kicked off Florida's team a few years ago. Fagan leads action last year against Mizzu AD who is conducting a mandated Title IX investigation of The Mizz softball coach. Fagan pulls the ever classy, post game hand shake denial instigating that incident at Florida and now a Fagan breaks team/school rules getting arrested and putting Aub's season in jeopardy.

When does the seemingly endless supply of this family of reprobates dry up so college softball can reduce it's scandals by half or more.

Well now it's time to put on her big girl pitcher panties. Auburn is in desperate need of her Carlson is great but not 9 plus times through the line up great. No one is

My guess is that this will result in a fairly short suspension. Anyone getting kicked off the team would be at liberty to talk about anything, and my hunch is that Auburn does not want players talking these days.

It is quite incredible to think that all college coaches in American put their livelihoods into the hands of 18-23 year olds.  Kudos to Walton for taking the short term hit on the playoffs to do the right thing.

Will the NCAA take stock of players who are suspended from playing in NCAA bids?  They should.

They'll be suspended for the weekend then just jump right back in next week as if nothing happened. No one will talk about it again. They'll still host a regional and be back to normal. I would hope there's a real leader on the team that can step up and let these teammates know this was not ok. I don't think there's a clearer example of losing control of a program than Auburn! It's a shame for the girls who do things right.

Smoking weed is about the most minor thing imaginable. It is ridiculous that it is a crime and ridiculous that law enforcement and the justice system waste their time on it. They won't sit more than this weekend, nor should they. And I'm a Bama fan.

Alcohol destroys so many more lives and families than pot that it's not even funny, and cigarettes kill more humans than any substance on Earth. Those things are legal and pot is illegal. Dumb.

LOL. What planet are you on? Her career done over marijuana? Ha. Every and I mean every football and basketball program in the country has players test positive for weed frequently who never miss a game. Auburn is one of the more notorious. The Fagan's would have quite a lawsuit if Haley was treated dramatically different.

Regardless of whether it should be legal or not, as of now it's a crime. It would also be illegal if they (other than Fagan) we're drinking alcohol. You may believe every college student does it, but that doesn't make it right.

It is minor, very minor. Here in Alabama, these 3 young women will get castigated in the comments of many times more people than that filth Cory Myers, who is far worse. Not a word has officially been in the media about what he did and they few mentions of it are met with folks defending him against "rumors"

Sort of a different opinion than you have about illegal pitches.

This is black and white but illegal pitches has a caveat of gaining a benefit.

I'm tired of people thinking pot smoking is so innocent.  Btw, team rules...you better follow them.

The stupidity of the decision -- with the spotlight squarely on the program -- is incredible

I don't believe I've ever really commented on illegal pitches. All I was saying was if something's against the law and you get caught, you gotta pay the consequences. Doesn't matter how minor people believe it is.

As for Corey, you know he's loving this because it takes the spotlight off him.

Keep in mind that they were ARRESTED - regardless of the opinion of whether marijuana is a "big deal" or not... it's against the law in most states, and these three were very well aware of that...in addition, the states where it is legal do have an age requirement to purchase... institutionally, this is much different than just testing positive during a random drug test.

Still illegal
Still violates team rules
Still suspended
Still won't win the NCAA title.
