2017 Auburn softball must be angling for a 30 for 30.

I knew the fagan Walton incident was just the tip of the iceberg. It would have been hard for auburn to win the national title with just one true proven pitcher but now it's really impossible IMO for them to even make it that far. Too bad for the young ladies who worked their butts off their whole careers.

I presume you mean "to bad for the rest of the young ladies?"

they'll be back May 5th i bet for our series in Ttown. i mean, that wouldn't shock me given current ramifications of happenings within that program this year.

One of your star football players got arrested for having a stolen gun (felony) and marijuana and didn't sit a minute, but you act like sitting six games for a marijuana offense would be light punishment. Let's not create a double standard.

So with all of this going on how far will auburn go in the post season?
A. Out in regionals
B. Out in supers
C. 0-2 in the wcws
D. Shocks the whole softball core and becomes the 2017 wcws champions

That's too bad they got in trouble on the holy day of marijuana. Too bad they don't live in a state where it's legal so they over 21s wouldn't have been in trouble. Another reason why Colorado should be the 10th softball team in the PAC.

To be fair if a college football player anywhere had shoved an opposing team's head coach after a game he's getting buried.

I imagine it will be even harder to keep the team focused after this fiasco.

Fournette shoved a UF coach  prior to a game and it was all just a little talk on message boards.  No biggie.   The Walton/Fagan thing was nothing.  This gets her suspended for a while.  Big difference in action and response.   Neither Walton nor Fagan shoved anybody.  Light contact only.

Either they tank and can blame it on distractions, or they succeed and will claim they "overcame adversity". Not sure you can claim adversity if you brought the problems on yourself.

No one gained an advantage. So why are they enforcing the rules.

Ladies and gentle men boys and girls this is what happens when you're never held accountable for your actions. Not only did all three drag them selves down they drug the whole team down. A terrible way to end career of cooper if auburn doesn't even make it to OKC

They'll make it.  Gotta have Cooper and Myers in OKC.

Giant scrum versus one on one and Fournette never played again after that game.

But he didn't not play, as a punishment, for shoving the coach in the scrum.
