Yes indeed. It's unfortunate for the billary dems that Gary and his party actually stand for the ideals that the billary machine disregards and disrespects. Quite a conundrum. Dewey probably going to be receiving some talking points from the dnc on his bat phone tonight so that he can help gin up some dirt on gary.

slappy, this one's for you.  sit back and watch.  You and DC think trump and his voters are sickening, I agree to some extent.  I KNOW that many also think hilLIARy and her batch of lies won't be bought by at least 21% of voters as shown in the article. [Psssst It's EARLY]

hilLIARy is going to get Ross Perot(ed)

The economy grew at 1.2%.  As James Carville said, "It's the economy, stupid."  If the economy starts to do even worse, Clinton is toast.

And to add, I recently saw an article that said that restaurants are starting to see a downturn in business.  That is a leading indicator of an economy in trouble.

Now, before Dewey gets on his normal high horse and accuses me of wanting the economy to do poorly, nothing could be further from the truth.  My job and retirement depend on a strong economy.  But the truth is that a lagging economy ALWAYS hurts the incumbent party.

But, but, wait. I keep hearing from the administration and his lap dog press that the economy is doing great. The only people out of work are retirees and those that made it rich with their 401ks

Must be sad to be reduced to hawking an Internet softball forum to defend your politics. And to think the norm is to get more conservative with age, not more bernie.
So sad to see your flailing desperation for a failed ideology.

Clinton and Trump are so vehemently disliked by Americans that Bernie could run as a true independent and win in November.

Disagree. Bernie tossed his 'integrity' into the sh1tter when he sat in his balcony spot at the dnc and told his supporters to abandon their ideals and vote corporate.

Yep. Like a true politician he tossed his ideals into the sheeter to keep his meal ticket punched like a good comrade. Can't imagine what ole Hills arse tastes like. You know Bill gave up on it long ago.

If Bernie comes out and Monday and says after further reflection he realizes he made a mistake, his base would explode with enthusiasm. He already left the Democratic Party, before the convention was even over.

Clinton and Trump are that bad as candidates. Clinton will be disqualified before November, and Trump will find a way to disqualify himself. [crazy]

I'm curious how many Democrats would vote for Hillary even after its proven she broke the law.

I know it's important for you to find a way to support your POTUS, but I was simply pointing out an article I read which I've attached here.

Since we're talking about the future, we'll just have to see and I certainly hope this analyst is wrong.  I do think it's a little scary that they attribute an increase in pizza delivery to growing civil unrest.  #pizzalivesmatter

Not at all.  In fact, I would have never thought of championing a POTUS in a softball forum.  Unfortunately, what these last seven plus years actually showed us was just how important it is for some on the Right to be extremely critical of President Obama.  It began the day he took office.  In fact, it's so important to some here, it will happen again tomorrow, the next day,  and the next day, and every day after that.  It's so important, these same folks will get agitated if someone refuses to join in and instead challenges their criticism of the POTUS.  Clearly we have a different understanding of what is "important".

What is important to us is to speak the truth - something that is difficult for you liberals.  That is why we point out Obama's many, many weaknesses and failures.

Regional (OK with reference to AR and TX) article about the opening of new restaurants. There's considerable lead time to open a new restaurant and some concepts will still do well by drawing from older ones.

http://amarillo.com/news/local-news/2016-06-25/were-spending-more-ever-eating-out
Another regional article (Amarillo) about new restaurants opening.

http://moneytips.areavoices.com/2016/05/27/restaurant-business-booming/
Says boom is being driven by younger people that tend to eat out more.

Any articles from Blue states and/or major cities that are booming?

pabar's article is from a WS analyst that is looking at the financial health of major chains.

Thanks PDad again for doing the dirty work.  Someone has to read their links, often times, their links dispute the clams that they make.  Comprehension issues?  It takes a tribe of us to keep dewy honest, cough, cough, caught him using stats from the great State of Texas where government nurtures businesses and entrepreneurs.  Not like government stifling the life out of business in New York and in California.  hew dewy, how many restaurants opening up in California?

Is it subtitled "The Day Conservatism Died"?

Or "The Day the GOP Sold its Soul"?

Or, maybe best "Party over Country - the New America".
