A CF and leadoff hitter.   Just what was needed.

She's a good athlete. I wouldn't judge her too harshly on her accomplishments at NCST.

She hit .255 in the ACC, what makes you think she will do better in the SEC?  I agree her speed is something UF needed.

And she hit .389 in her FR season in virtually the same amount of games.  So she can put the bat on the ball from the top of the lineup.  That is what Florida is looking for.

She won't bat lead off. She'll bat 8th or 9th almost like a Voss or Justine.

Fall ball will determine that.  I wouldn't make that statement now.  They have no other true leadoff hitter.

Go with above. NC States single best player for 2 years, especially her Freshman year. Be a little surprised she doesn't work her way into leadoff or, might be a great 9 hole hitter. Don't hold playing for NC State against her just yet. Kid is solid and with the dumpster fire of a season this past year, playing for Florida in the SEC she's ripe to blossom.

Fast with great range, good arm. Huge upgrade over Hoover in RF. Should make the transition to SEC with that Staff & team behind her.

Solid pickup for Florida. IMO

Agree 100%

You can't judge a kid off a team that has been last in the ACC the last couple of years. The coaches there were terrible, good thing they were relieved.

They need her bat. Last season lead the nation in walks but was 67th in BA and DEAD last in slugging at the wcws.#pathetic

What happened to your original post with video, where you said she has an average arm and average range, lol?

The new slapper is going to kill Cheyenne Lindsey and jade caraway both step way out of the box. But eh if Walton can get away with hitting an innocent little girl during an auburn series he can get away with a slapper out of the box.

yes she was. You don't push a 19 year old when you are 40 something but we know he was steal holding a grudge after the 2012 season. He should have walked away like a grown man should do.

Ty, I think jade will be happier here. I think she can help. One question, since you follow the ACC and Florida kids, will Farley help us next year, the year after, or never, in your view. My favorite transfer ever was Stephanie Tofft, and Hannah Rogers was great as a late commitment change.

Being happy is important and she brings much needed speed.  I do not know much about Farley.

I'd be a lot more excited for this if the slapper rule didn't exist and we could expect her freshman year numbers. But I expect any transfer UF gets is with the intention to put her in the lineup.

The slapper rule MAY not exist anymore.

It didn't exist in OKC

If they choose to ignore a rule that they decide is detrimental to the enjoyment of the game, it will go the way of pointless pitching rules. They will experiment with variations and at some point make rule revisions. It is a process and to get your panties all in a bunch will only complicate your life.

Pointless....

Repropelling from 39 feet... there could be NO more game-impacting violation of the rules.

Not up for debate among those without a major agenda to protect.

Yes, we get it.... you protect your own kid. Just own that. I think we call all respect you backing your tribe.

But, to call re-propulsion from 39 feet anything but a major illegal gain of advantage is sublimely disingenuous.
