I will be going to the Citrus Classic tomorrow in Kissimmee to see the Florida Gators.  They play a double header.. Will be taking some Hi-Def video of the game...Bats pretty quiet today, but love it that Jordan is stepping up...Just a gamer....

Fordham is a very good team. Their pitcher was excellent. Gourley looked really good as well, bouncing back from The Maryland game that was just one of those days. It happens. Offense is still a work in progress, but I think they'll get there. Barnhill may just be the ace of the staff. She's just mowing people down left and right with very few control issues, really seems poised and confident this season.

Greatt to see Jamie and Jordan getting it done. As many have said, the pitching staff must carry the offense on its shoulders. No one is unbeatable this year, we will be in every game this year, Get used to 1 and 2 run games.

Bob I'd love to have Tims  problem. Gourley or Barnhill? Gorleys the senior and should get the nod to stay the ace, but she has to stay in that zone because the soph.Barnhill ain't taking any prisoners this yr! The kid is something to behold. The offense should be fine, just need to get those clutch hits. If it does start to click, watch out sec!! This could be the best defense, pitching and fielding wise I can remember in my lifetime. Go Gators!!!

Gators tide at zero at the bottom of the fifth with Liberty right now. The surprise is that Gators have zero hits Liberty has one.kg

0 hits though 5 innings against a 3+ ERA Liberty pitcher. This team just isn't very good offensively.

Knock on wood, but if Ocasio makes a mistake then Florida loses to Liberty. Maybe Maryland wasn't a fluke. These Gators seem capable of losing to anyone.

This team just can't hit the ball.  Just pathetic against mediocre pitchers.

Liberty gets a hit off Gourley in the 9th to move the player placed on 2nd to 3rd. Then sac fly brings her home.

Florida down 1-0 B9. McLean will be placed on 2nd with the top of the order up: Lorenz-Reynoso-Kvistad.

Florida asleep at the wheel again (or just not very good). [crazy][sleep]

Does DiMartino pitch to the hot freshman Hoover, or load em up for DeWitt with 2 down?

1-0 Liberty up.

Liberty didnt re-enter CF or 1B so Reynoso and Kvistad both get second chances.

McLean on 2nd
Lorenz struck out 3-2
Reynoso - fly out to CF
Reynoso #2 - HBP
Kvistad grounds out but pushes McLean and Reynoso over (they return after 1B ruled ineligible for putout)
Kvistad #2 currently in 3-1 count

If Florida wins this game, we can thank Walton for watching substitutions. [rofl]

Reynoso 3rd
Mann 2nd

For the Liberty coach, after it happened the first time, to not check the lineup out.... a firing offense

Every game Florida plays this year will have a post season feel because the team doesn't have an offense.

And, yes, major credit to Coach Walton and his staff, but more blame the other way
