I don't know Mexican places well in the area since I don't eat Mexican when I am in the area, but for great local lunch joints, I'd recommend
The Press: https://www.thepressokc.com/
The Mule: http://themuleokc.com/

In the same area (practically next door to The Mule) is my favorite pizza place in the area, Empire Slice House: http://www.empireslicehouse.com/  (Hideaway Pizza is also good, but I'm more of an Empire Slice guy).

That would be the basement of the racetrack/casino next door to the stadium. 5 years ago I got to spend a couple of hours with 600 of my closest friends. Not too bad because when we got out I had a beer and watched a few innings of baseball before going back to the hotel that had lost power.

As a long time OKC resident (I now live in Australia) and avid softball fan, still playing masters fastpitch at 63, I would say try Johnnies for great burgers and onion rings, Zorbas is good Greek. Earl's has good BBQ, Cafe 501 for a nicer meal, Big Truck Tacos is good local Mexican and Sala Thai or Penang or Lido for Asian. Sorry to miss this year, Boomer!

The Chuhuly glass at the OKC art museum is great. For more good art including SW Indian and impressionist I recommend the Fred Jones art museum down in Norman and the Sam Noble natural history museum is there too. Pops out on old Rt.66 is fun too.

Thanks for all the suggestions. 2 days and my wife and I have had a great time.
Except for some of the outcomes. lol
We will be back.
If you are ever in the Chattanooga area I will try and repay the favor.
Thanks again.
Hmmm, I'm hungry again.

I’ll surely forget how to find your post but I may be driving thru Chattanooga later this year. Can you suggest three places to eat and give me a rundown?

Thanks. I've seen Sugar's Ribs from the highway and always wondered if it was worth a stop. Definitely will try that or Boathouse next time through.
