ESPNW's Grahm Hays lists his top 25 softball players for the 2018 season.

He has six Oklahoma players in his top 22.
He has five Sooners in his top 15 (33%).
He had four Sooners in his top dozen (again 33%).
He has two in the top ten, and one in the top four.
Here is where each of those six Oklahoma players ranked on his list:
#22 Lowary
#15 Mendes
#12 Romero
#11 Knighten
#10 Clifton
#4 Parker

One of the most interesting things to me - is that these pre-season lists never seem to include one of Oklahoma's best players.
Nicole Pendley led the Sooners in the following categories for the 2017 season:
Slg% .614
HR 17  (which was 5 more than the next best)
TB 137
EBH 28
Triples 3
Pendley was also second in RBI with 65 (just 5 less than Knighten's 70).

Pendley led her team during post season play in these categories:
Doubles 4
HR 4
EBH 8 (2nd best was 5)
TB 31 (2nd best was 26)
RBI 15 (tied with Knighten at 15, Romero's 9 was third best)
Slg% .738 (Knighten's .619 was next best)
OPS 1.138 (Knighten's 1.066 was next best)
Pendley was also second in BA (.357).

Nicole Pendley just doesn't get the respect she very much deserves. And on top of her excellent offensive production, she is also a very good defensive player at a key position.

Grahm and I differ - in that...
I would have had 9 OK players on the list (adding Pendley and Aviu and Alo).

I think Alo will be fantastic for OU but she is completely unproven at this point to make a list like that.

The smiley winky face at the end of my post...
indicates that I was joking.
3LT jokingly posted that I just might be Graham Hays -
so my response was to jokingly reply that Hays' top 25 list wasn't pro-Oklahoma enough for him to be me.

While I seriously see Pendley as deserving to be among those other six Sooners (in regard to their 2018 potential),
I have a harder time putting Aviu in that same category - and Alo (as you indicated) is obviously unproven at this point in time.
