I had tagged this post onto another thread but with all the goings on for the past week, [and my power went out just as I was sending] it's time to get the 800 pound gorilla to come out to play.  Particularly surprised by the 80 YO from Florida who jumped right on the conversation last week when the young man from Australia was brutally murdered because some thugs got bored.  Didn't hear much from him on the beatdown on the bus where the 13 YO little kid was smacked around by three other thugs.

The selective rage and selective indignation over the killing of the Australian made me wonder why so few are getting fed up with the violence in this country.  I think that joisey guy brought his thoughts to the table just so he could pop off about gun control as he sees it.  He had no contributions otherwise to the discussion of the dead Australian.

So in the last week [mid August, 2013], the race relations in this country have really taken a beating.  Today's news uncovers the fact that a DHS employee runs a website called waronthehorizon, he calls himself the "irritated  genie".  I have seen the site and found interesting reading to say the least, nothing but hate filled racist speech.  This guy is a federal employee responsible for ammunition procurement.  WOW.  We need to quit pretending 'this stuff' is not happening out there and talk about it like it's real like we do obamacare, immigration reform or fast pitch softball.

Now an 88 YO WW II vet has been murdered and I would like to hear, what they will blame this murder on.  He was beaten while waiting outside for his friend where he played pool 2-3 times a week'  From CNN "Belton stopped by the Eagles Lodge two or three times a week. He played pool, but by his own admission, wasn't too good at it.".  Joisey Guy has stated he is not fearful for his life because he lives in a gated community in Florida and can protect him and his wife with a baseball bat.  I guess that's ok if you want to be confined to your gated community.  Many elderly who live in this country are scared to death for their lives.  Lucky JG, he planned ahead because that baseball bat may not be available when you step out in the real world.

Some of us live out here in the real world where kids get beat up on school buses, 88 YO men get killed on the streets after surviving a bullet wound in WWII, where people get shot on the streets while jogging.  Now the conversation has led me to do a homework assignment that I gave myself.  I have found links, videos, books and discussion on what people seem to avoid on this forum alright but in society in general people are skeered to talk about.  Pat Buchanan brought it up today.  The amount of black on white crime occuring in this nation.  Now, if you are skeered to talk about it, find somewhere else to play.  I have tried telling the current moderator that there is an undercurrent of race riots in this country and he has said I exaggerate.  So he can spend his time on the gay marriage and lilly ledbetter threads, he doesn't like the truth. [but I know he is reading every single word to use against me later]

Race riots media won't talk about

Report: Blacks mob streets of Philly, Cleveland, New York, Boston, Milwaukee …

Published: 08/07/2012 at 9:36 PM
author-image Chelsea Schilling
Chelsea Schilling is a commentary editor and staff writer for WND, an editor of Jerome Corsi's Red Alert and a proud U.S. Army veteran. She has also worked as a news producer at USA Radio Network and as a news reporter for the Sacramento Union.

It’s one of the least reported and most alarming trends in recent years the mainstream media and politicians won’t talk about: The rise of black mob violence in U.S. cities across the nation. The startling wave of brutality leaves behind battered victims while media and political figures consistently downplay the severity of the attacks.  That’s the focus of the book, “White Girl Bleed A Lot,” by author Colin Flaherty, who is also a radio host, former speech writer for the first black chair of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights and a special correspondent for WND.In a radio interview with WND’s Greg Corombos, Flaherty explained why he has been documenting this surge in mob violence.“I started hearing about what the newspapers were calling ‘flash mobs’ and teenagers walking around downtown Philadelphia,” he said. “It happened over and over. I looked at YouTube, and what I saw on YouTube was totally different than the antiseptic version I read in the newspaper.“What I saw on YouTube was a race riot, several of them – large crowds of black people running down the streets of downtown Philadelphia, beating people up, hurting people very badly, pulling people out of cars, going into restaurants, stealing stuff, destroying property. Then I realized it was happening all over the country, not just in places like Philly, but in Baltimore, New York and all these big places and small places, like Peoria, Ill., or places you wouldn’t expect it, like Seattle and Portland.“I wrote the book for one reason: to convince the deniers that we have an epidemic of racial violence in this country, and we have to recognize it.” Flaherty admitted he doesn’t know what caused the outbreak of violence. In fact, he said he doesn’t even try to explain or solve the problem. He said he simply informs Americans of the wave of violence the mainstream media either downplay or refuse to report.“When I say racial violence, I’m really focusing on the criminals/predators, not the victims,” Flaherty explained. “I’m not trying to get into the minds of the predators. I’m just saying when hundreds of black people march down the streets of Philly or Cleveland or New York or Boston, Peoria, Milwaukee, Seattle, Portland … 70 cities, when this happens over and over and over – hundreds of incidents in the last two or three years – and it is exclusively a black phenomenon, that’s why I call it racial violence.”

He argued that admitting the facts in these cases would force liberal activists and politicians to admit decades of racial policies have been unsuccessful.

“They’re hoping to avoid people like me asking one question. … After 50 years of affirmative action, racial quotas, preferential hiring and all this race-conscious behavior, they don’t want somebody like me to look at them and say, ‘How is that working out for you?’”

Flaherty also explained why he focuses on mob violence by blacks in particular: “When people call me and ask that question, I say, ‘If you have an example of white mobs or Asian mobs preying on helpless black people, a link or a video, if you have one of these that is not reported, please let me know, because this is so overwhelmingly a black phenomenon.”

He added, “Guess what: Black leaders know this. Black people know this. White people know this. You know who goes really crazy on this topic? It’s not black people. It’s white liberals. They’re the ones who go nuts when I talk about this.”

I know some of you are very smart and very astute, I just want to make sure the last paragraph sticks with those that may not like to read a whole article.  The author above concluded by stating

He added, “Guess what: Black leaders know this. Black people know this. White people know this. You know who goes really crazy on this topic? It’s not black people. It’s white liberals. They’re the ones who go nuts when I talk about this.”

that paragraph reminds me of the white liberals on this site.  The one's that are afraid to comment on the race relation threads.  They seem to get nervous.

masare, if you are out there.  The story references Philadelphia, you heard anything about this mob violence or mob mentality?  Any other white liberals out there who would like to dispute the author's premise?, because I am going hunting for mob violence videos that he spoke of in his book a YEAR ago.  I think I may find his conclusions to be right on.  If the whites were engaging in such activities Al Sharpton would have already preached it from his MSNBC position as head idiot in charge.

Dewey - you are big on all of us having to post support for our positions but I have noticed a general lack of response by you to the many posts of KIR that are exclusively about supporting the positions of the right.

KIR - thanks for doing all the work you do.  Those of us on the right know are positions are correct but the libs, who are in complete denial with regard to this president's complete failure, constantly flail for "evidence".  I appreciate what you do.

I've got plenty my friend. What I see and what I see coming is not pretty. I usually lurk everyday and post occasionally, but some of what I have to say on this topic is not pretty either. I didn't think you were fishing for someone to back you up or agree.

No, I appreciate what you do in California for the 'right'.  It's easy for me to do in Texas, well sort of.

The deal about dewey and my posts are that I see behind his passive agressive nature and I retaliate in my own way, yeah, I said retaliate [it rhymes with debate].  We are in a war

Now, get back to the subject and stay off dewey, plz

edit:thank you for the compliment by the way pabar

Wasn't fishing but I caught a mackarel with you. I usually don't fish but I knew you would have something to add, later.  The point about the topic [or your remarks on the topic] being 'not pretty' is exactly why I penned it, it truly is not pretty.  I am able to think about race relations exactly as michael berry does.  That man is a genious

I knew you lurked and I also assumed, you don't always agree with my views

Look - i'm passionate about this - as if you couldn't tell.  So it's not surprising that I get upset when I read Dewey's posts which are normally geared toward deflecting the conversation or sending people on goose chases.  Sometimes I get sucked in but I can't help refuting the lies.

KIR - most of the left in California are either takers or people who never let go of the 60s. Like our governor.  Having a rational discussion with them is like trying to prove Santa Claus is real.

kiir - Aside from religious topics, I believe our views pretty much align. Particularly when it comes to the czar of talk radio. I try to catch both shows via my phone.

On topic, I'm not sure a conversation will work anymore. Things seem to be exploding and the wagons will soon need to be circled. The good news is the "silent majority" is just that; a majority. When more people do adopt Mr. Berry's approach to this, the race pimps' voices will become meaningless. Those cowards will disappear.

Pat Buchanan said some very smart things in his assessment of our soulless society.  If conversation will help just a little he should be in on that conversation

Quote:

If we go back to the end of World War II, 90 percent of black families consisted of a mother and father and children raised and disciplined by their parents. The churches to which these families went on Sundays were stronger. Black schools may have been largely segregated, but they were also the transmission belts of patriotism and traditional values rooted in biblical truths and a Christian faith.

Though such schools graduated hardworking, law-abiding and productive citizens, today they would be closed as unconstitutional

Best of the Friday night cable news networks. MSNBC is showing something about being locked up in prison, Fox is saying that the murder of an Australian is a racial crime, and CNN is bending over backwards saying that race had absolutely nothing to do with the murder despite reporting the racist tweets of one of the murderers. Where is AG Eric Holder, and the race pimps Jessie Jackson and Al Sharpton? Why is this not being portrayed as a Racist hate crime? Just asking why the outrage is not dominating the Cable news networks 24-7? Why is that Libs? Eat much egg? It's all over your faces?  Why not jump in and explain the differences in news coverage, and outrage by the racist poverty pimps. Did I just kill this thread by pointing out Liberal Hypocrisy?

No woody you didn't kill the thread.  The thread will live or die by the participation of those who have insight into the problem.  Like I said, those that are skeered to talk about it will not.

joisey, like I said, the 'little boys' will be talking about gay marriage and lilly ledbetter or perhaps wailing more about 'the washington way'.    It stands to reason that you and masare would have nothing to add to a glaring problem in the U.S.  masare, I thought maybe you would have something to say about the book and the author's premise in the book.  I assume you agree with the author and are too PC to admit it.

"White Girl Bleed A Lot": Return of Racial Violence to America and How the Media Ignore It

Here are more of the reviews of the book that maybe you can comment on.

Editorial Reviews

"Reading Colin Flaherty's book made it painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is even greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities across America." – Thomas Sowell, National Review

"Colin Flaherty has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of skyrocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse." – WND.com

"This is an important book. You must read White Girl Bleed a Lot." – Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson

“What’s happening, as the book makes indisputably clear is, first, black mob violence against nonblack persons and property, and second, appalling indifference, denial, and cover-up by police and the media.” – John Derbyshire

To be honest, I'm having a little bit if a hard figuring out what this conversation is supposed to be.

There are a bunch of statements about racial tensions, prejudice, and problems.

Ok, sure we, have all that. There are also good people, and I have many minority friends.

I agree that the MSM won't address the issue of racism, unless it is white on black (real, or made up by them).

I also agree that are people who get rich off of continuing the tensions, and elevating them if things get quiet.

Outside of that, really not sure where this is going.

It's not going anywhere mike, it is an eye opener that no one has ever talked about, it's an information piece. I found the subject while doing research on other matters and the news today of the website waronthehorizon, run by a U.S. government employee.  I knew there were racial tensions out there and thought it was a topic worth discussing.  Seems like a few of you are dumbfounded by the topic.  If you have nothing to add, don't.  Skip the topic if you wish but the more of you that deny the problem exists the more that you play right into the author's premise.  It will not go away until it is addressed.

This is not a count of how many 'minority friends' that you have.  You are falling into that trap where if you have 2 or 3 black friends then the problem must not be true.  The rise in racial violence in this country is growing and if you want to dispute that fact, the author's premise or my motivation then go right ahead and dispute it with links of your own.

Even the author says as stated above that

Quote:
Flaherty admitted he doesn’t know what caused the outbreak of violence. In fact, he said he doesn’t even try to explain or solve the problem. He said he simply informs Americans of the wave of violence the mainstream media either downplay or refuse to report.

But don't try and guess my motives or intentions.  I am doing nothing but shining a light where few of you want to see.  I agree we have a problem and until more admit it the problem will not go away.  "really not sure where this is going" mike says, I'm not either

That's the point, things get quiet because the MSM lets you relax while just under the surface things really are not that 'quiet'.

Another 'frank' video.  Seriously if you don't like the conversation, this video may not be for you.  Head out to chuck-e-cheese, your kids softball games or a walk in the park and stay ignorant to what seems to be happening in this country.  Check out the pregnant woman getting beaten on a bus.

real - I was "street" when you were in diapers, so don't apply "ignorant" to me.  I wore Big Boy pants before you knew the term. My uncle (mother's brother) was shot and killed by the police (minor desperado) and my grandfather insisted that my parents move from his house and find a better environment for the "gossoon" who was "goin the way a Michael" (that has made the major difference in my life).  My gang was the "Grant Street Bulldogs" - sounds really silly now.  Most of the young people whom I grew up with before age 12 have done jail time.  My environment was hugely physical as was I.  What, I ask, is your "hands on" experience with what you demonstrate on film?  As I look at these films (very informative to the ignorant who were brought up with a silver spoon in wealthy suburbia, probably even those who are people of color and live in the upper economic echelons of our nation's many societies). They are often caught between being "successful" and being part of the national urban definition of a "black" in our nation. "Blacks" in suburbia even have clubs to teach their children about the black experience and culture in America because many have become culturally "white" or at least mostly so.

What I see as common denominators in the films are 1. cities (always considered a menace to the agrarian dream in American Literature though considered also as concentrated power), 2. black and brown angry physical mobs  3. both white (racial) and black and brown victims (mostly white, hence racial). 4. many victims selected at large as symbols of a larger group (remember the KKK?).  5. personal values that belong in a neanderthal clan survival group.  6. Frustrated rage. 7. A segment of society (black and white)  at large, predominantly black, gone wild with emotion ala skinheads and the Aryan Brotherhood but with more physical violence.

Now, is this a major problem in our nation?  In the cities especially and absolutely "yes" (been there and done that - understand "turf") and to a lesser degree elsewhere (been mostly there and done that).  I played baseball for Anchorage, Alaska in 1954, and when a black pitcher from Detroit joined our team, our two players from Texas left the team rather than play with a "n word".  Does economics play a factor?  Absolutely yes, when "Mr. Charlie" (who doesn't live there) has the money and exploits inner city people with businesses there (what is the racial makeup of cities, especially in the economic poor areas, and why?).  One must ask, Is this obvious "racial", "economic", and "cultural" rage explosion an urban problem, and if so, what can be done to rectify the horror and by whom?  The film demonstrates the horror well.  Cause and effect must be determined and addressed.  This violence cannot be tolerated in our nation.

What do you see beyond black people run amok???  Any serious suggestions for partially eliminating the problem?   In a "free" nation, the streets must be walkable without fear.       Frank

selective martial law until the problem is reigned in, perhaps the national guard in some instances.  That is my serious suggestion.  We don't have time to pump billions of more dollars into the failed "education system" to stop this type of behavior, we are being beaten to death in this country NOW.

You are getting personal frank with your " I was "street" when you were in diapers, so don't apply "ignorant" to me."  Sometimes that is where the breakdown of a discussion occurs.  You put your pants on the same way I do.  If you want to get personal, I'll be right behind you and sometimes you liberals don't like the results.  The author spoke of the white liberals who have the hardest time with the information provided, you and masare are proving his premise.

masare, you have nothing of frank substance to share? you live in a gated community like Frank?  Is that the answer, to gate all our communities, guard our communities and neighborhoods with armed guards?  Hide in our houses when the sun goes down?  Step out to go shopping or to go play pool as 'Shorty' did only to be beaten to death?  You say it is an urban problem joisey, is Duncan, OK urban?  The town 'Shorty' was killed in was not urban.  In urban settings you have more opportunity and number of smart phones and such, that is why it is more documented in the urban settings.  To deny it is rampant across America is doing a disservice to our citizens.

I do have personal experience related to the videos while I was in the service.  This thread is not about me but if you would like me to PM my personal incident I will.  It happened a long time ago, 30 years and I thought it was an isolated incident. Over the years I have 'seen' more incidents similar.  From the research that this author and I have done it looks like now it was the beginning of a growing epidemic that has been ignored by the sheeple.

Ahh... it all makes sense now.  Reading World Nut Daily again, eh?

http://www.salon.com/2012/10/23/worldnetdaily_now_peddling_white_nationalism/

WorldNetDaily now peddling white nationalism

In addition to its usual anti-Muslim propaganda, the site is now focusing on "skyrocketing black-on-white violence"

WorldNetDaily now peddling white nationalismColin Flaherty

The Southern Poverty Law Center WorldNetDaily (WND) says it opposes racism in any form. That’s why the online publication has added a series of articles on “black mob violence” to its usual fare of antigovernment conspiracy theories, gay-bashing, anti-Muslim propaganda, and End Times prophecy.

The series, which began in mid-2012, is penned exclusively for WND by one Colin Flaherty, who according to an editor’s note posted at the top of his pieces, “has done more reporting than any other journalist on what appears to be a nationwide trend of skyrocketing black-on-white crime, violence and abuse.”

“WND,” the editor’s note says, “considers it racist not to report racial abuse solely because of the skin color of the perpetrators or victims.”

Flaherty is a marginal media figure whose main contribution to American literature is a 2011 self-published memoir titled Redwood to Deadwood: A 53-year Old Dude Hitchhikes Around America Again. He caught WND’s attention with 2012’s White Girl Bleed a Lot: The Return of Racial Violence and How the Media Ignore It, also self-published, which argues that “black-on-white” attacks have gone through the roof and the only reason you don’t know about it is because the “liberal media” has colluded to keep the story under wraps.

Flaherty catalogues episodes of “black mob violence” with the obsessive care of a true connoisseur. Though he began by writing exclusively about black-on-white attacks, he has lately branched out into covering black-on-black violence, though he rarely bothers to note the race of the victim and always mentions that of the perpetrators.

His most recent article was about a “black mob” attack on University of Wisconsin football star Montee Ball, a young black man whose chances of winning the Heisman Trophy appear to have waned in the wake of head injuries inflicted by five youths who attacked him in August. (Actually, as Flaherty writes it, it’s not Ball who’s the victim, but the Heisman Trophy itself.)

As it happens, the “liberal media” has had much to say about the subject of violent “flash mobs” consisting of mostly black youths – particularly after several members of a such a group were arrested for attacking white people at 2011’s Wisconsin State Fair in Milwaukee.

The New York Times, which WND frequently holds up as a leading light of the “liberal media” conspiracy, has repeatedly covered (for instance, here and here) violent flash mobs consisting of black youths whose targets were primarily white people and their property.

So has The Root, a blog owned by the Washington Post that examines news “from an African-American perspective.” There, columnist Nsenga Burton wrote approvingly of a message delivered by Philadelphia Mayor Michael Nutter, who is black and who said the mostly black teens who formed a series of mobs that wrought havoc on his city in 2010 and 2011 were “damaging the race.”

In June, We Are Respectable Negroes, a left-leaning blog that specializes in tackling sensitive racial issues, published two pieces on the issue of “black youth mob violence” (here and here) and the tricky politics of addressing it in writing. So, for that matter, did Hatewatch’s own Robert Steinback, in a blog post published a week after the attack in Milwaukee.

But unlike mainstream (and, yes, liberal) writers who have pondered the causes and consequences of mob violence among black youths, Flaherty has become popular in white nationalist circles. Several articles from his WND series have been picked up by American Renaissance, a white nationalist hate group that promotes pseudo-scientific studies and research that purport to show the inferiority of blacks to whites.

In July, Flaherty appeared as a guest on the Lowell, Mass.-based Malevolent Freedom Radio, a white nationalist show whose motto is “embrace white culture” and whose logo is the Schwartze Sonne, or black sun, a Nazi occult symbol. Telling Malevolent Freedom host Dean Anderson that he’s not part of “the [White Nationalist] movement,” Flaherty declared, “I’m just a guy that likes to write … I just have my eyes open. My attitude is, I’m going to tell you what’s happening now, and if you want to freak out about it, I really don’t care.”

Strange company for a news organization committed to opposing racism. Of course, as WND publisher Joseph Farah bragged (unverifiably but implausibly) in August, WND “showcases twice as many black columnists than any other news or commentary forum in the world.”

Who are they? Well, there’s black neo-secessionist Walter E. Williams, who in a 2002 column for WND wrote that Abraham Lincoln “acted unconstitutionally and with ruthless contempt for the founding principles” when he refused to let the Confederacy secede peaceably. And Rev. Jesse Lee Peterson, a black radio personality who once thanked God for slavery and who in a 2005 column for WND wrote, “It was blacks’ moral poverty – not their material poverty – that cost them dearly in New Orleans” during and after Hurricane Katrina.

There’s Thomas Sowell, an economist at Stanford’s Hoover Institute and sometime contributor to the white nationalist Social Contract magazine, whose praise for White Girl Bleed a Lot is featured prominently on that book’s web site. And Erik Rush, author of Negrophilia: From Slave Block to Pedestal – America’s Racial Obsession, which argues that “the undue and inordinate affinity for blacks (as opposed to antipathy toward them) that has been promoted by activists, politicians and the establishment press for the past 40 years … has fostered an erroneous perception of blacks, particularly in America,” leading to a state of affairs in which “racism on the part of blacks is [considered] acceptable, or even proper.”

Yes, WND has binders full of black writers. And now, in keeping perhaps with publisher Farah’s declaration that his website boasts “the broadest spectrum of political opinion to be found anywhere in the world,” it has a white nationalist propagandist too.

Pushing the book a little?

'Black mob violence' – the forbidden words

Exclusive: Colin Flaherty notes killing of Australian just 1 of hundreds of similar attacks

Published: 3 days ago

The murder of the Australian man in Oklahoma was horrific, but not unique. Or even rare.

A similar episode of black mob violence happened just a few days ago in Memphis. And a few days before that in St. Paul. And before that in Burlington. And before that in Delaware, New Haven, Madison, Denver, Flint, Peoria, Springfield, Greensboro, Green Bay, and on and on and on.

This is a long list with more than 500 cases of recent black mob violence in more than 100 cities, big and small, many on video – and all unreported as being part of an epidemic of black mob violence throughout America.

“Beat Whitey Night,” for example: Two summers ago, black mobs beat and robbed dozens of patrons at the Iowa State Fair for three nights in a row. They also attacked police.

Ever hear about it?

Didn’t think so. That is because most editors are not comfortable with the words “black mob violence.” No matter that black mob violence exists plainly and exponentially out of proportion.

This reluctance is curious in the most race conscious country in the world. Every day we read about the black caucus, black colleges, black labor unions, black doctors, black lawyers, black business owners, black TV stars. Many of these stories are written by members of the National Association of Black Journalists.

But these same hyper-racial reporters go blind when it comes to widespread and frequent and sometimes even fatal black mob violence. The psychiatrists say we are only as sick as our secrets. And nothing inspires more secrecy – and sickness – than racial violence and lawlessness.

Before I wrote “White Girl Bleed a Lot: The return of racial violence and how the media ignore it,” I had no idea how bad it was. Neither did Thomas Sowell before he read it: “Colin Flaherty’s book made painfully clear to me that the magnitude of this problem is greater than I had discovered from my own research. He documents both the race riots and the media and political evasions in dozens of cities.”

Sowell wrote that last year. It is much worse now. I know that because people from all over the country tell me, especially cops. They send links and videos and case numbers and mug shots and inside info that does not appear in the local press.

Sometimes the black mobs are small, as is the case in Oklahoma where two black people stalked and killed the Australian Chris Lane because they said they were bored. Sometimes they are large: As was the case earlier this month in St. Paul, where a mob of 100 beat and stomped Ray Widstrand into a coma, with permanent brain damage, if he survives.

Sometimes the black mob violence is so common, like Baltimore, that reporters tell us we should learn to live with it.

Sometimes the violence is marked by hate and vitriol spoken aloud. But not usually. In New London earlier this year, six black people were sentenced for killing Matthew Chew. They said they were bored. Near Cincinnati last year, a black mob beat a man comatose. It took him a year to die. The black people involved said they were bored, too.

Sound familiar?

The busiest day, by far, for black mob violence is the Fourth of July. This year, we saw dozens of examples of violence, theft and chaos during our nation’s annual celebration of freedom. In Wilmington, Del., groups of black people threw M-80 explosive devices at police cars. Yes, the police were still in them.

In Greensboro, the city council held an emergency meeting on July 3 to prepare for the racial mayhem that has become a regular feature of their lives. Their curfew did not work. And now residents of a town people used to compare to Mayberry wonder if their city is turning into the next Detroit.

In Virginia Beach earlier this summer, black party promoters sent buses to black colleges and filled the streets of this usually quiet beach town with 40,000 black people bent on mayhem. In one six hour period, police received more than 900 emergency calls to 911. Some for shooting. Some for violence. Some for theft. Some for drugs. Some for guns. Lots on video.

No one carried a sign that said Burn Baby Burn. Or Down with Honkies. So editors behave like the one in Norfolk last year, who said that he had no evidence that the 50 to 100 black people who surrounded and beat his reporters were “racially motivated.”

That lack of evidence did not stop newspapers around the world from reporting the acquittal of George Zimmerman for the killing of Trayvon Martin meant that it was now “open season on black people.”

Let’s give the trolls their due: By itself, each incident is small. Even the killings. But together, they build a pattern that sometimes makes it impossible for even the most obtuse editor to ignore.

That happened a few weeks ago when the local Fox affiliate belled the cat in Baltimore: The news report actually stated that mobs of black people were responsible for a wave of violence and theft in and around downtown. And that one of Baltimore’s largest employers was thinking about leaving the area because of this danger.

This story echoed Maryland state legislator Pat McDonough, who said black youths were “terrorizing” the upscale Inner Harbor.

McDonough asked the governor to declare the area a “No Travel” zone until the black mob violence stopped. The state’s liberal media and political establishment roared in outrage at McDonough. Not because he was wrong, but because he noticed.

The same day the Baltimore Sun unleashed an attack on McDonough, the downtown experienced three more attacks of black mob violence and theft.

Last year in Minneapolis, black mobs were involved in dozens of attacks downtown and at the Mall of America, many on video. One left a local artist with permanent brain damage. When I asked the local police department if race played any role in this violence, the spokesman was indignant: They did not notice what race the predators were, he said curtly.

This, of course, is the same police department that on its website offers “protected minorities” special help, special test taking, special opportunities for advancement for those who want to join the police force. Lots of cities do that. Most, in fact.

Editors and mayors may be loathe to admit it, but people responsible for the violence revel in it. They make music videos of it. They brag about it on Facebook and Twitter.

Ask a cop; they know. Cops on the beat are heroes. They wonder why the people running their departments are so busy excusing, condoning and ignoring black mob violence.

And Chicago is second to no city in that department.

On Memorial Day two summers ago, 1,000 black people invaded North City Beach: assaulting, destroying property, pushing people off bikes. The city closed the beach the next day, citing a heat wave. Other nearby beaches remained open.

Local residents took to talk radio, telling station WLS about the racial violence. The radio station grabbed the 911 calls and the people of Chicago learned the truth: Their city was under assault from black mobs. City officials were not being honest about it. And local media were going along with it.

In Philadelphia, during one of the dozens of racial attacks, a white businessman was on the ground, getting kicked and punched. “Why are you doing this?” he screamed.

“It’s not our fault you can’t fight,” said one of the attackers, described only as an “unruly teen.”

A few months later, a public health worker from a local university set out to investigate the violence: “Its just kids blowing off some steam,” he told a medical journal.

I was recently on a talk radio show where the host invited me to remind her listeners about how I wrote a story that got a black man out of prison. He had been convicted of trying to kill his white girlfriend. I showed it was not true. The story made national news in places like NPR, the Los Angeles Times and Court TV.

The host said she wanted to inoculate me against charges of racism. I don’t play that game. I’m just a guy watching a car crash and wondering why everyone is trying to convince me there is no car crash.

“White Girl Bleed a Lot” is not about grand theories. Or big solutions. Or apologies.

Nevertheless, its amazing how often people try to flip the script: How they try and turn the predators into victims and the victims into the real predators.

The thousands and thousands of videos of black mob violence are making it almost impossible to play that game anymore. It was never any fun to begin with.

Thanks for posting DC.  So you are denying the authors premise?  First time I had ever read WND.  I came across it when I read Pat Buchanan's article.

and more from your article
