Good for her. She did great things as the volunteer at Ole Miss.

One of the last SEHS players to ever scare the crap out of me when she came to town... Great player and an even better person.

One of my sisters had to have played against her. Congrats to her getting this move up.

That’s what I thought but I was 3,000 miles away so I don’t remember her opponents so well.

M was a cold-blooded killer her senior year. Whipped our sorry asses three times that year all on her own. 1-0, 1-0, and 2-1 I believe.

So did Glasco just lose his whole staff?

Well Courtney was a volunteer.

Wow! Joe is a great coach and even better person. Great thing's going on down in Birmingham. All the way around! I am excited to see the upward movement of this program.

No, he still has Ellen Renfroe Reed, Jon Reed, and the man himself. Reed is a mediocre-to good pitching Coach and Glasco is an ultimate top 5 hitting coach.

Wonder who the new Cal pitching coach will be... Maybe bring back a former player- Thor, Jocelyn, etc? Can we get an actual hitting coach while we are at it?[rolleyes]

Hmm, yeah with all the OR excitement,  I forgot that D'Arcy left Cal. Just spitballin… Might be a step up for someone like Cheridan Hawkins.

Ok call me bandwagon but I might jump back on the DN-train if she hired Thor. Tied for all time favorite Cal Bear!

Crazy thought ... if Lombardi goes to Oregon, how crazy would it be for Rocha to come back to her alma mater? Just a thought ...

Yes he is. Surprised that he has not received a better offer yet. He is one of the really good guys in the game, and he has done a great job at Nichols.

Angel Santiago should have gotten the UCF job. He has deep roots in Florida, and would have done really well there.
