Well, did ya'll finance a safety net to stop jumpers on that big bridge ya'll have out there? Why would you spend that kind of money to prevent what a doctor will do for a minor fee? I have another thought on the assisted offing thing. If the state of California, and many others wanted to reduce prison overcrowding, I have the solution. If an individual decides they are suffering and want to end their life, a doctor can administer a life ending cocktail of drugs. Why not offer, no SUGGEST that anybody convicted of life terms, or terms that would only release them after they were in their 70's or 80's, do everyone a favor, and take the needle. It's the best for everyone after all. They shoot horses, and kill babies in the womb after all. Why cry about offing a bunch of low life dregs, and a drain on social services that could be instead used to save the Chilren?

Amid California’s escalating gun and ammunition controls, Weatherby is moving its manufacturing facilities from Paso Robles, California, to Sheridan, Wyoming.

The move is meant to relocate Weatherby to an area where employees can actually live the outdoor lifestyle they build and sell.

The AP quoted Weatherby CEO Adam Weatherby, who indicated that his company is tired of being in a position of treading water to keep up with new gun controls and regulations. He said, “We wanted to move to a state where we can grow into our brand. Wyoming means new opportunities. We are not interested in maintaining; we are growing.”

Wyoming Gov. Matt Mead (R) was thrilled to welcome Weatherby to Sheridan, and announced that the move includes Weatherby’s “management team and manufacturing operations.” This represents “an estimated 70 to 90 jobs and $5 million in payroll in the next five years.”

Mead made clear that the “Sheridan Economic and Education Development Authority (SEEDA) Joint Powers Board worked with the Wyoming Business Council (WBC) to secure a grant through the Business Ready Communities Program to help with the relocation.” He said, “This is wonderful for Wyoming and for Weatherby. Weatherby’s firearms will now be made in Sheridan and shipped all over the world. I am proud of the work done by the Wyoming Business Council, SEEDA, and all who helped make this happen. This deal has been in the works for over a year – good things are worth the wait.”

Adam Weatherby announced the move from California during the 2018 SHOT Show in Vegas.

It's a sound to soothe them to sleep at night, a gun shot lullaby

Image result for gun shots sounds

Just got back from San Francisco. Spent some time driving up and down the 1 and at Golden Gate Park/Haight area. Ugh. Fisherman's Wharf area teeming with homeless and felt unsafe for women, children, and snowflakes. Ugh. City is bursting at the seams and feels like a cesspool.

Liberal policy heaven. The results speak for themselves.
And their previous leader will probably be our next governor

My daughter sees report on TV saying California is becoming 3rd world and asks me why. I tell her CA has highest taxes in USA that make it hard for people to afford to live here. She responds “Don’t you get paid to fix it?”

A glimmer of hope in this liberal wasteland.
Los Alamitos, a city in Orange County, voted last night to exempt themselves from the states sanctuary laws. I’m sure the state AG Xavier Bukake will bring suit against them just like he has against the Federal government. They refuse to stray from their failed ideologies of illegals over Americans even though 70% of votes polled oppose sanctuary policies

So a local government holds a vote to comply with federal law, in contravention of a state law, that says not to comply with federal law.

That is a weird place.

From OC Register
California signed up an estimated 450,000 people under Medicaid expansion who may not have been eligible for coverage, according to a report by the U.S. Health and Human Services’ chief watchdog.

In a Feb. 21 report, the HHS’ inspector general estimated California spent $738.2 million on 366,078 expansion beneficiaries who were ineligible. It spent an additional $416.5 million for 79,055 expansion enrollees who were “potentially” ineligible, auditors found.

Auditors said nearly 90 percent of the $1.15 billion in questionable payments involved federal money, while the rest came from the state’s Medicaid program, known as Medi-Cal. They examined a six-month period from Oct. 1, 2014, to March 31, 2015, when Medicaid payments of $6.2 billion were made related to 1.9 million newly eligible enrollees.

Also, 1 in 3 Californians are on Medicare. 13.4 million people with a budget of 100 billion dollars 😳
Tell me how this is sustainable

Of course, that is totally unsustainable. Just paid 3.75 a gallon for gas on the way to work this morning. Looks like we need to raise the Cali tax base so we can support all of dewfresh's freeloaders.

Just keep raising taxes on businesses and all those rich people that make 200k a year. Didn’t Obama say that people making that much neede to pay their fair share?

Most of the California politicians are barely able to qualify for GEDs.

Are you a U.S. citizen?

Why does California have a problem with that question?

They are afraid the illegals won’t fill out the census form, hence they won’t be counted, hence CA loses federal funding based on lower population.

It also costs you delegate counts and skews how voting districts are drawn out.

The mid class is fleeing CA.
Normal ppl can't live there anymore.
Housing prices are too high, wages too low.
CA increasingly consists of tech oligarchs & their imported, low-wage servants.
CA is developing the economic structure of Latin America.
How long before it's Venezuela?

Dear Tucker,

You are speaking of the whole state while ignoring the vast farmland that is diametrically opposed to the coastal current.

Plenty of "normal people", in the Central Valley, deserts and northern farm/ranch land or what would be normal by your biased definition.

To say housing prices are too high is akin to Yogi Berra claiming,

"No one goes to that restaurant anymore, it's too crowded."

Increased dependence on tech business? Of course, it is damned profitable. But California still grows food for more than their own.

While the citizenry of California might be skewing the color of Latin America, the ledger is still very green. Reports of the state's financial woes are similar to our water shortages. More a problem of distribution than actual supply.

Our politicians are pricks. But so far, the balloon hasn't popped. Resilient, despite the pokes from folks claiming to have 'best interest'. Thanks, but we're good.

Keep holding out spazsdad, Bill Smith, FIB, Early and PDad.  The noose is tightening and you'll be the first to go but you should make it to your finish line in decent shape

In California your dog can be detained without proper vaccine paperwork. Yet 6 to 15 MILLION illegals can’t be detained for having no paperwork.
