Great pitching by King to win them the natty, amazing records set by this team!

I wish Alameda would have at least let Hanson pitch some innings in the championship, feel bad for her, amazing pitcher.

Wasn’t even from the sec and pac 10/12 I wonder how that happened.

My DD played for this staff and I can tell you it was the best decision we ever made. I am so happy for Lonni, Travis and Craig. This staff develops softball players and young women. Congrats Noles!

Leave it to UF admins to announce a coaching extension right after FSU wins a national title.  Always wanting to still any thunder FSU may have.

Have not heard anything.  Highly doubt she leaves FSU for tx.  If she were to leave it would be for a Pac 12 school in California, her home state.

I agree, it was an attempt at humor, in light of the other rumors around inn slack time! Can’timagine her going anywhere soon unless youhave a very greedy AD.

Someone mentioned the Warren should get a look for team USA.  I was curious who are the 3rd baseman on team USA?

Jasmine Jackson. Hannah Flippen, jenna lily, courtney gano. Flippen and gano play a few positions.

Yes, Meghan King pitched a great game, but Hanson is a senior and King is a junior. Let's not forget that Hanson led most of the way this season for the seminoles, she led with ERA, strikeouts, IP. She got them to the World Series.

Without Hanson transferring, FSU would be nothing.

When FSU scored 7 runs in that game, Hanson should have come in. She should have at least got the opportunity to pitch at least 1 inning in the championship because she was the one that got them there.
Nothing? [rolleyes]

No. It was stated FSU would have been nothing without Hanson. That's seems extreme.

Agreed. No doubt carried the regular season load. FSU will find out next season without her. Time will tell if the Auburn transfer or, any of their current staff can cover for her loss.

I don't think Hanson is mad she didn't pitch the final two games, I mean she could have still been playing for FAU and watching from her living room!

FSU's bulldoze through the wcws was the most remarkable team effort I have witnessed in many years and Hanson had an active part in it.
