That thought process would likely have to take into account that the ones who put this ranking in order would closely examine the two teams' schedules and make an estimation as to who they would beat to justify coming up with that conclusion. Do you really think they do that?

Granted, California does appear to have a little stronger non-conference schedule, along with more quality games, than Oregon State, but for Oregon State to finish higher than California in the conference standings, they would have to go in to Berkley and take at least 2 of 3 in the series. Shouldn't that somewhat justify them having a higher poll ranking also?

Interesting he's picking the Gophers to still win the Big 10.  He must have followed the Lindaman thread and figures she's not much of a loss.

Think MN is the BIG 10 pick by default.  Michigan was terrible down the stretch last year, and their best hitter graduated.  And by terrible down the stretch, they lost 8-2 to Western Michigan, 10-1 to Ohio State, 7-0 to Michigan State in the first game of the BIG 10 tournament, and then two losses to ND, a 3 seed, in the Lexington regional.  Unless they have an unbelievably good freshman class, they shouldn't be anywhere near the top 25.

You obviously do NOT work for FPN (Fast Pitch News)...  as they have Michigan slated at #10 in their pre-season poll.

Won't have to, Louisiana is and will forever be the correct name for athletics. But some people just can't accept change, so I say let them be ignorant or like some, spaz, just keep being a douchebag, starting to actually think your envious of Terrell, as you comment on every post he puts up.

For having Arizona in 5th may the fleas of a thousand camels infest their crotches and may their arms be too short to scratch.

They sure are having a tough time counting for ranking within the Pac 12 conference.

CSM is ready to conclude their pick for #25 is out of the NCAA tourney? Bold! I tend to disagree.

Everyone overlooks Arkansas. They are definitely near #10 IMO

If they want a top 10 ranking, they need a better performance from the pitching staff. Haff is outstanding but they can’t expect her to pitch 3 days in a row when they get into SEC play. Storm is decent but a 12-10 record won’t cut it.

I don't see 10 teams with a better pitching situation than Arkansas. And Storms as a Saturday is fine

I think Gibson will definitely help their offense, not sure Jackson can hit the P5 pitching so the jury is still out as to what she’ll bring to the table. Haff will carry them but the defense will be less than stellar. I doubt they’ll crack the T10 just yet but definitely trending in the right direction.

That blurb doesn’t mention either Gibson or Jackson joining the squad. Wonder when it was written?

Storms was not 100% last year coming off of hip surgery. This year she should be fully healthy, so this should be a good test of what she can do. Agree with upontop - I think the defense is the big question mark for the Hogs.
