Interesting. Quite a few teams highlighted so far that were not recently recognized.

Ole Miss is a train wreck. Mike Smith is a piece of work and has lost control of his team. There is a lot of animosity amongst the inner circle because of the way he runs things. Y’all will see. Being at 36 is wishful thinking.

Just noticing that CSM also includes their conference rankings in these projections, so, for example, with Ohio State ranked #3 in the BIG 10, we know that only two more Big 10 teams will be in their final 25 (presumably Minnesota and Michigan).  A bit surprised that Northwestern, Illinois and Wisconsin are nowhere to be found in the top 44.

24 teams remaining.   1 from the ACC, 2 from the Big 10, 3 from the Big 12, 5 from the PAC, and 10 from the SEC.  If my math is correct, that's 21 teams.  So three remaining teams outside the Power 5.  UL and JMU will certainly be two of those teams.  But who is the third?  I can't figure it out.  Kennesaw St.??

Northwestern appears to have lost quite a bit to graduation. Wisconsin and Illinois were just below the top 50 rpi to finish the season so they may be on the cusp of the top 44.

Liberty and Texas State finished top 30 rpi. It's likely one of them.

Oregon State Beavers

Overall Rank: #26
Conference Rank: #6 Pac-12
With Oregon State #6, that leaves 5 more PAC 12 teams left. Pick 5 teams from your above list because 1 is getting left out.

If it does come down to a choice between Liberty and Texas St, Liberty would get picked over Texas St because of the loss of Rupp to graduation.

Looking at CSM’s bracket UCLA is #1, OU is #2 and Florida is #3.

I would tend to agree, not just because of Rupp, but because Liberty is returning more of their offense and pitching than Texas State.

??? This is not logical. Apparently the person who organizes this for CSM doesn't comprehend that the 6th place team in a conference is supposed to be higher ranked than the 7th place team.

23. California- https://www.collegesportsmadness.com/article/17009

This is completely wrong. If California wins 4 games against the Top 25 and Oregon State wins only 1, but California loses more games in the Pac-12 than Oregon State then they will most likely be higher ranked than Oregon State but be lower in the Pac-12.
