We all knew it was there - great read from ESPN on how it all went down.

Come to find out Pitino is "coach 2" and was supposedly directly involved.

I doubt NCAA would have acted on it without FBI making it public. Tarkanian had great one-liners about NCAA enforcement.
http://www.latimes.com/sports/la-sp-tarkanian-appreciation-20150212-story.html

Tarkanian's rolling mantra was that the NCAA had a double-standard for enforcement, that it picked on smaller schools but protected the sugar-daddy power programs. This produced variations of his most famous quote: "The NCAA was so mad at Kentucky they gave Cleveland State two more years of probation."

Depending on his audience, he would often sub in UCLA and say the NCAA was going to "get so upset at UCLA, they'll put Northridge on two years probation."

Look no further than UNC for proof of that pdad.  I don't know if you all have been following it, but they made up an academic program with no future so players could meet academic progress needs, and not attend and get good grades.

They skipped the ACC Championship one year in FB (self imposed), so it's all good.

That BB thing is pretty gross.  I guess you always suspect that sort of thing is going on, but to see it bared like that is pretty obscene.
