Hoping there aren’t any but inevitably there will be. What are some thoughts here or what have people heard that may transpire at months end when season’s are over. We already have Coach Conway retiring from Detroit Mercy. Anyone feel free to update this as time passes.

Coach Boo Oliveira from Purdue should be fired. The coaches have no clue and gets out coached every game.  I go to all the home games and went to Indiana to watch....what a mess.

Uhh .. aren't they sitting at 30 wins with games left? It's the toughest part of their Big Ten schedule, but when was the last year they won 30?

I agree Cali...Indy is just a pissed off parent!

I actually feel this is one of Boo's best seasons coaching!  I've been very impressed!  Didn't they just beat N.Dame 10-1?

Which one was the mess?  The 2-1 loss or the 5-4 win?

Hahaha, too funny. Just a fan that is upset with the horrible schedule from the beginning. Take a good look at her schedule. When you have to play power 5 teams how good did she prepare the team?  NOT.

By the way, ND is not very good either, the have lost to every B10 team this year. That's not saying much.

Whoah... baby steps

Purdue was 173 RPI this time last year and finished 140 the year before that. They finished 86 in 2016 and 82 in 2015. They haven't finished top 50 in RPI in at least the past 10 years, probably more

On the softball field, Purdue, in general terms has not been "saying much"

While Purdue and "Boo" look to be having a nice year, former Purdue assistant is really struggling at UNO as they rapidly approach a 40 loss season (4-36) in her first year.

Agreed, not sure how you  figure ? IU and Purdue with many more wins and confidence since the changes.
As far as scheduling, as 3LT said, baby steps, going to AZ every year previously and playing top teams isn't the best way to start a winning trend.
As far as preparation ? you are correct, both the previous coaches did none. That's why they got clobbered every year.
Maybe now with confidence and talent building, trips to AZ and Palm Springs to start the season can return with the challenge met.

Purdue’s much improved but let’s be real, the preseason schedule was not what one would hope to prepare for the big ten. A lot of kid major competition with some losses in there to those teams.
