A comment like this would have multiple right wing sources showing the statement. Since I don't know the circumstances surrounding your version of what he said, I will go on what I've seen. His words and actions have been shown to be less than honest and I suspect he has an agenda. Show me the tape. The entire tape, not just a segment. Unlike oowwaa, I will click your link.

If you watched the show on CNN you would have known how full of sh1t the whole operation was.  Bad political theater.

Not a good way to get honest workable solutions, but you guys go ahead with it.  It is fun to watch you rev your motors and sputter about.

I will stand on you misrepresented what he said, since you have done it before. Every one of your HC accusations is distorted and overstated. Interpretation is not a fringe strong point. Where is the video? This would be news.

This thread has reached its intended conclusion.

Libs here didn’t even watch the event and refuse to believe those who saw their classmates gunned down. You also misstated what the NRA member said.

Thanks for playing freshkrieg and terp - you got got.

"I've never lied on this site."

George Soros is trying to destroy America and CNN has absolutely no credibility. These are two statements I would take great issue with but I do understand they are intended to represent an opinion. The Right is free to express such opinions but must be reminded when Democrats here do similar, they are labeled liars. When the Right feels a Democrat's opinion misses the mark, they call it "spreading lies". Double standard.

I took your post to be about the issue with actors standing in for real students. The key player's last name was Hogg and I thought that was who you were referring to. He had also posed questions on the NN town hall meeting. I knew I had not seen him associated with such a statement. Sorry if I upset you. I said I would click your link because I do give you some credence.

The video will not play any more and I don't doubt that Fox urged this kid to phrase this comment as you heard it. I need voice inflexion and tone when dealing with the words of a teenager. I read all you guys' posts with a degree of care, since you have to admit that your assertions that HC is a criminal requires ignoring the facts that she has never been charged or tried for anything. That would be enough for most reasonable folks.

CNN denies that it scripted questions for any of the participants at the town hall, which was attended by Sen. Marco Rubio (R-Fla.), Sen. Bill Nelson (D-Fla.) and NRA spokeswoman Dana Loesch.

Did you have your tap shoes on while you were dancing around with this reply?
You choose to believe CNN, a proven generator of fake stories, over the actual people involved with the event. Great to know you are so dedicated to your masters

CNN is no longer a viable new source.  They shill for the Democrats and liberals.  It is as plain as the nose on your face.  I'm not referencing the opinion shows.  When CNN sends a reporter to attack a lady who had a facebook page where she mentions support of Trump and that she took others to a rally and then that lady is attack on air, they demonstrate that CNN is not only no longer a viable news source, it demonstrates that it has become an attack dog for the Democrats.  Keep in mind that CNN has not sent anyone to attack anyone who attended any Democrat event which was also orchestrated by the Russians.

Regarding the double standard.  Not with me.  If I call you a liar, you are.  If you call me a liar, put your name on it and be a man.  Pussies operate any other way.
Darrell Butler

Are you talking about the lady that shared a Russian meme as the truth and couldn't understand how that was playing into their hands? If so, attacked is strong verbage.

Here is the actual contents of the interview in The Australian. Note the context you use that quote in never appears. It, as usual, is intermixed with other questions and answers, giving a very misleading interpretation. If you have a strong position, it is not necessary to twist and shout alternative versions.

Peter Wilson: I am interested in how you keep track of so many issues and areas. Is your information structure different from other major investors? Do you place more emphasis on geopolitics than most?
George Soros: No. If anything I probably get less information than most people because I tend to focus on what I consider to be the salient features and neglect the less important so it is more by process of triage that I work.

So people bring things to your attention if they think a situation is developing in a region or a market?
I read the newspaper, I have some financial services that I also look at. I’m not on top of the financial markets. I just don’t have adequate information on detail so I can only use blunt instruments that are sort of macroeconomic instruments. On the other hand, I am tremendously involved in policy issues and that is where I am focusing.

What sort of policy?
The financial crisis, and how to solve it. It was not something that I was particularly concerned with prior to the rise of the crisis and I am also involved in the activities of the (Soros) Foundation.

But for the past 18 months you have been keeping an eye on the markets?
Yeah but I have also been writing a lot more than I was writing before because the crisis really stimulated me. I wrote a series of articles in the course of the year, I wrote a book, I published a book and I’m just about to publish a sequel to last year’s book, bringing it up to date, I am just working on it now.

So do you have a sense that things are coming together for you now?
It is in a way a culminating point of my life’s work, so to speak.

Everything is coming together.
Yeah, the American election, the financial crisis, the theory of reflexivity. So it is actually a very stimulating period.

Just as well you didn’t retire ten years ago.
Right, right.

I will always take a CNN version over Fox. End of discussion. You guys have yet to show one instance of a news story they intentionally put on that they knew was a lie. You just hate them for holding trump's hand to the fire. The audacity of them to insist he tell the truth. What in the hell is a news source for anyway?

CNN is a fraud.  3 minutes of that gun debate and you knew what it was about.  A put on show for the freshy's of the world.  Good luck with that, it will get you nothing.

Same reason I listen to NPR, or read libtard news sites.  I am ok with people that have different ideas.

CNN can be the most entertaining of all.  Election night.  I knew what was going to happen.  It was so rock solid clear.  Definitely flipped over to CNN to enjoy the delusional breakdown and dissent into shear panic.   That was great television.

Fresh keeps blitzkrieging us with liberal taking points and lies. Didn’t even watch the event, yet comes here and tired to tell those of us that did what happened.

NRA never equated guns in the founders day to AR15.
Survivor Decided not to attend because CNN wouldn’t let him ask a question about veterans.

Why won’t you address these and admit you spread false information about the event?

Trapper went after the sheriff today. Must have gotten some blowback from his dereliction of journalistic duty at the town hall.

Sheriff should resign.

Dem Sheriff was ineffective in his training and management of his squad.  That resulted in numerous innocents getting slaughtered.  He should have to go.

That Sheriff is also being outed for his approach to criminals that are still in high school.

Tapper must be kidding himself.  Plenty of footage of him blaming he NRA over the last week.  Defending the Sheriff from 'finger pointing' as evidence mounted and mounted that Sheriff Isreal is worthless politician.  Put him on stage next to NRA spokesperson Dana Loesch where he proceeded to yelled at her to feed to the stupid political theatre CNN was holding.

Same with FBI director for that region.

The public has a right to demand their police and FBI are run by competent persons.  We let those kids in Florida down.

Here is a good read on how BLM political agenda gone wild in Broward has resulted in rampant unchecked crime by juvenile offenders.

Doesn't explain your willingness to take someone else's word that Soros made a ststement that he clearly didn't make. You aren't interested in checking your sources, just run with any statement that supports and already formed opinion. I find that more common in the right than the left.

When right-wingers bring up Soros in response to a mass shooting in Florida, they've proved how loony they are. You guys are like trained mice--GOP pols and right-wing media crazies know they can simply mention Soros, or Clinton, or Islamic radicalism, or a few other conservative chestnuts, and your response will be Pavlovian (look it up).

When are conservatives going to stop their lame, disgusting attempts to blame rampant gun violence on everything but guns? You think it is ok to have semi-automatic weapons for sale to anybody and everybody age 18 or over--in a country full of people with troubles? Why? They have no practical value in society--just the opposite, of course; they are used regularly for massacring people, and yet conservatives want to pretend they are not a problem. You ought to be ashamed of yourselves. You have no regard for public safety. The NRA and Trump and the GOP insult the intelligence of the American people with their nonsense--"oh, we've got to arm teachers." That's not a solution; that's the usual insane GOP/right-wing cop out. The NRA and GOP create a major safety problem and then yell that other people are responsible for making sure bad things don't happen with useless weapons they push out on the street and promote. Disgusting.
