That CNN is journalists, so only they are allowed to look at sites that might have non-progressive think on them.  If you are not a journalist those alternative sites are illegal.

I call BS. You're delusional and/or mistakenly counting every GOP supporter as a Trump supporter. Jeffrey Lord is CNN's resident Trump supporter and he usually appears with 5+ non-Trump supporters. Smaller panels (e.g. 3-4) rarely have a Trump supporter for the entire panel discussion.

All cable news sources, by their nature, must cater to their audience for ratings. This taints the story, but I still haven't seen any evidence of "fake news", only sources that later proved to be wrong. I see these as different.

$uccessful media companies are focused on ratings and politics has been a boon for them. Trump exacerbated the bias of LSM when he won the nomination as they used him as an excuse to abandon journalistic norms. Now that the genie is out of the bottle, LSM has gone beyond Trump and I doubt they will ever return to their pre-Trump standards.

OTOH, Trump created more diverse coverage on Fox between the pro-Trumpers, neverTrumpers and other GOPers in between. Fox news-oriented shows draw upon its large group of left-leaning panelists to balance out discussions and usually puts them on in equal numbers (e.g. 1 of 2).

None of them are suitable as a sole source, however IMO Fox is the most balanced and I supplement it with some CNN and MSNBC.

A white, male, liberal?

I hear that you don't necessarily need to be a male, to be a father, in some 'progressive' states

Critics will long cite this episode as evidence that CNN is precisely what Trump has called it — “fake news.” Yet the departure of three journalists immediately following a mangled story provides a counterpoint to this particular slander. Purveyors of fake news, after all, don’t take drastic personnel moves following a bogus story. They rejoice in it.
                           The New York Times

.@CNN did the right thing. Classy move. Apology accepted. Everyone makes mistakes. Moving on.

Anthony Scaramucci, the man mentioned in the report
From his tweet(I couldnt figure out how to copy a tweet)

If I can get you to read my posts, there's hope for you. Had to dig pretty deep for that one, I have no idea what context that came from.

As Paul Harvey used to say.......and now for the rest of the story:

Snopes on this nonstory: http://www.snopes.com/cnn-muslim-protests-london/

Cut and pasted from the Snopes story:

Nothing in any of the rumors provided definitive (or even shaky) evidence that the protests were staged (by CNN or any other party) for the purposes of favorable media coverage. Mediaite’s coverage of the claims highlighted the public’s unfamiliarity with the process of reporting live news:

This story is nonsense. The group of demonstrators that was at the police cordon was being allowed through by officers so they could show their signs to the gathered media. The CNN crew along with other media present simply filmed them doing so.

Wanting something to be true and it actually being true may be 2 distinctly different things

Fresh had drank the Kool-Aid and is indoctrinated.  No clue that Snopes etc. are liberal "fact finders."  How they rate the validity of events is classic.

I don't trust Snopes on current events, however it was useful for debunking bogus stories circulated via email where they have the history of its origin and how it's evolved over the years.

Hate to say it, I'd rather read the left wing nut job NY Post, for my news of any kind over Snopes

Did anyone see the highlight of Anderson Cooper and a consultant named Gupta?  Cooper and Gupta got into an argument and Gupta handed him his lunch.  Then, when Anderson had that "board discussion," he attacked Gupta's nationality.  How is that ok?  Well, it is yet another example of the hypocrisy of the left.

Very funny if it was Dr Sanjay Gupta since he was born in Michigan. What were they debating?
