Clemson has picked up a very nice recruit for 2020. Valerie Cagle out of Va. Plays for the Hanover Hornets 16U team. Initially verballed to Delaware...liked a specific course of study there, opened her recruitment back up when Staff let go.

Should fit in nicely with the new program. Tremendous athlete.

Hmm.  Delaware staff let go in May, after the new recruiting rule had passed.  So how would she as a 2020 receive an offer from a Div. I school after the new rule passed in April?

Somebody better clean their post up before Clemson program gets shut down before it starts.

She is a 2019 recruit. Free to talk. She won't hit the field until the 2020 season.

Ok, that makes sense!  I think as soon as any of us see a year, we assume that's the high school grad year.

Yes, that's the standard usage.  For a current HS player, 2020 automatically refers to to grad year.
