Anyone have any info on the CIF tournament. Is it this weekend? Is it in Irvine? I've found a few things on the website but it wasn't terribly helpful.

Ok, guess I'll miss the tourney with it being on Monday and then during the WCWS.

The pairings occur on Monday.  There are no games on Monday.

Oh, I gotcha, sorry.  The wording kinda threw me off there.  Is this the same format they've used every year.  And why in the world is it scheduled during the WCWS?  Guess I'll just have to see those good HS players in Gold ball.

Same format as every year.  I don't think the CIF concerns themselves with college schedules.  Most high school players and their parents wouldn't be able to explain what the letters WCWS stands for.
