Oregon State is not one of the 'Last 4'.... the second they won on Friday they were in. Period. .... where does this bizarre characterization come from?

That’s an interesting take. The author doesn’t seem to like KY much, sending them to Eugene for a regional.

He has Baylor in as a host, despite losing to TTU in the Big 12 tourney, but KY and Auburn appear to be punished for losses in the SECT.

I will say that the regional brackets, for the most part, look interesting.

That's not Devin.... that is the guy at top who linked to his post.

He got a little moralistic and kept Mizzou out

Devin is copying what’s at the link and posting it here. The author clearly expresses an opinion that Mizzou should be punished for tinkering with its schedule with the Wichita State/UA-Pine Bluff flip-flop. That’s why they’re not included.

I would like to see that Alabama regional, with Michigan and California....Murphy and Hutchins duking it out and California bringing some West Coast swag in the house....

Cal has better pitching this year. With that, and keeping Robbie Guest from home-cooking them, they might have a shot of making some waves

There are a few things I strenuously object to here, but I do like how some of the teams are placed in regionals.

1) I don't think Arkansas goes as high as 12 and I don't think A&M goes as low as 16.

2) I don't think Baylor hosts.

3) Missouri gets in.

I do like how ULL and McNeese are going to College Station and how Houston and Texas are headed to LSU. It would be nice to change things up a bit.

And no disrespect to Hofstra, but Arizona's regional looks ridiculously easy. But Arizona had trouble with Stanford all weekend, so there is that...

He has Ole Miss there, but it reminds me of a peeve:

There should be NO SUCH thing as a regional without its 2 OR 3 being a P5 team. Just should never happen

Lol well his 3rd seed at Arizona is Ole Miss....they are kinda like a P5 school. 12th place in the SEC doesn't get them relegated to the Southalnd...

Related note...I would love to hear the voices in Kaitlin Lee's head as she tries to pitch in that rocket-launcher of a ballpark in Tucson...

Baylor has gotten hosed recently re: seeding v. RPI,  so I don't think the committee will repeat that.

Also, can anyone explain why BYU always plays in a regional out west that is well over 400 miles away (last year at Salt Lake City excepted)? Why can't BYU be at Oklahoma, or Texas A&M?

If they play in Oregon, they are 12 hours away, if they play in Texas A&M they are 22 hours away

Bizarre... that is 3/4 of the Eugene regional from  last year.

I could understand that happening at the UCLA or Florida muni

Of course. Long as they’re not from the same conference.
