BC wins 9 in a row now since proud grandpa posted. Maybe he just logged in here to light a fire under them!

Yes they are going to Washington for supers knock them out in 2.
Win vs Oregon game 1 of the wcws
Then beat Florida
Then lose to Oklahoma
But turn around beat them twice on semifinal Sunday
Ucla and Boston college will meet in the finals with ucla winning game 1 but Boston college taking the next two games.

Now you are just being silly. No chance they lose to Oklahoma.

Yesterday's win was the first game played in their new stadium.

Not as easy to recruit from the "big select programs" as you might think..... annual cost of attendance at BC is $75000.00 (partial scholarship to play ball doesn't help much though they do a good job of finding non-athletic money to help. It's still expensive)...... Athletes must meet BC's high academic standards for admission (no special treatment cuz you're a jock)..... Not everyone is looking for a faith based campus..... Not the largest budget in the ACC (doesn't come close to the SEC or PAC12) so recruiting trips are limited..... Given all of that they really must focus on the players who express a serious interest in BC. Not everyone playing for a "big select program" is interested in playing in the NE, are academically qualified, have the academic skills needed to be successful (that's a different recruiting discussion), have the financial resources to shell out $40K (after partial and/or other aid) just to play ball (reality check), or want to play in the ACC. Most of the girls playing on the top 25 select teams dream of SEC, Big12, PAC12... or a few ACC or BIG10 teams. Unfortunately, as great an educational institution as BC is, it doesn't fall into one of those categories. I got no dog in this hunt but I check in on them from time to time and it seems to me that Coach Obrest and her staff are doing an outstanding job on many fronts. Truly outstanding if you look at the injuries this season. JMHO, Vic

Grandpa's Eagles have a home double header v. Florida State today. Maybe FSU has a bit of a letdown after the big win against Florida? Hard not to root for BC after all the injuries and then the amusing timing of this thread.

Hilarious, the timing of this streak.
