I couldn't care less.   They were listed on what I read as ranked "No. 9/16/16"

I just went with the lowest number.  But apparently it's much more important to you than it is to me.

Despite a lightning warning interruption of more than 2 hours Boise State wins their first game of the 2019 season with an 8-0 shutout win over Boston College in five innings.   Apparently unlike what occurred in the Boise State vs. Boston College game played in the football post-season, in December of 2018 in Dallas, Texas, the game was not cancelled.

The 2nd game of the day for Boise State vs. Northwestern State has now been delayed for more than 34 minutes due to a "torrential downpour" of rain.   Lightning delays, rain delays, sounds like great weather down there in Austin, Texas, today.   Oh and the temperature during the first game was 32 degrees too.

With Boise State's 6-4 win over # 24 ranked Mississippi of the S.E.C. the Broncos have now won 5 games in a row and have an overall record of 6-2 after the first two weekends of play this season.  Mississippi was ranked last week at # 24 by Fastpitch News.

With three wins this weekend at the Grand Canyon University Purple Classic in Phoenix, AZ., Boise State has now won 8 straight softball games.  The three wins this weekend were a 2-1 win over Yale on Friday, a 5 inning rule rule win (9-1) over Michigan State and another (5-3) win over Yale yesterday.   Overall Boise State (the defending Mtn. West Conference champion) is now 9-2 this season.

Boise State will be going for their 9th straight win today at 11 a.m. Mtn. Time against the host school Grand Canyon University.  That game can we seen here:

Make that 9 straight wins for the Boise State softball team as the Broncos defeated the host school, Grand Canyon University, with a run rule (8-0) victory in 6 innings. Boise State now has an overall record of 10-2.

Boise State has won every game they have played in the last two softball tournaments they have played in - going 4-0 in both the Stacy Winsberg Memorial Tournament in Los Angeles and Long Beach, CA., last weekend and by going 4-0 this weekend at the Grand Canyon University Purple Classic in Phoeniz, AZ.

With yesterday's 9-4 win over U.C. Davis the Boise State softball team has extended their win streak to ten straight wins now.  That's among the top five current win streaks in NCAA Division I softball right now.   They go for their 11th straight win today at 10 a.m. Mtn Time (9 a.m. Pacific Time) vs. Long Beach State (who Boise State defeated 4-3 two weeks ago).

A second game for Boise State is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. this afternoon vs. the University of Illinois at Chicago.   Both games will be played in San Diego today.

Two more wins late yesterday and the Boise State softball team is now off to their best 15 game record in their short 10 year history.   Boise State is now 13-2 after their first 15 games this season with an 8-0 five inning run rule win over the University of Illinois at Chicago followed by a come from behind win over Florida Gulf Coast University.

Boise State's pitcher Gianna Mancha gave up only 1 hit in the first game (in the 5th inning) and 4 walks for the run-rule win over UIC in the first game.  And in the 2nd game Boise State was trailing 3-1 in the top of the 7th inning before Boise State loaded the bases with 2 outs when Ashlyn Adams (RF) scored 3 runs on a triple to take the lead at 4-3 and then added two more runs to win it 6-3.

Boise State's originally scheduled 1st game yesterday vs. Long Beach State was postponed due to rainy conditions and that game is now scheduled for today (Sunday) at 10 a.m. Pacific Time (11 a.m. Mountain Time).  These two teams faced each other 2 weeks ago and Boise State won that game 4-3 in a game that was ended after 6 innings due to darkness.

Boise State won their 13th straight game yesterday in a 3-0 pitcher's duel and set a school record in the process.  The 13 straight wins is the most in school history.
