I definitely think Oklahoma St is on the rise but having at #1 is a reach. Texas Tech being in the Top 4 would be an even bigger reach. I have seen nothing from them this off season to have them in the Top 5. I think it's OU #1 and Texas and OSU battling it out for #2.

I agree!! OU is going to have their hands full with both UT and OSU this season!

You are probably right, just hopeful thinking on my part. If Oklahoma State sweeps Oklahoma last year, they win the conference. Of course we all know about that “what if??”.

If I had just three more numbers right, I would have won that huge megaball prize.

I think that all depends on how well they develop Gabby Sprang.

OSU a fluke team last year not gone do nothing in the Big12 this year.
Even Oklahoma ?ble Rocha got a weird style they might not do Damage either. To be honest Texas Tech and Baylor the only 2 teams in fall that I seen looked good Texas Tech pitching legit this year, Baylor got some dogs. People gone be shocked.

My daddy used to always say, if the rubber hadn’t of broke, I wouldn’t be here so I totally understand the “what if” thing. 😃

We will see, Shippy is gone but I think they are a better team this year. Coach G is in his fourth year and has beefed up the team all around. They will give OU and TU a run for their money. I’m just waiting for Southie to chime in here and maybe AaaaaaaaaWrong.

Aint no #1, they have five really good pitchers and a whole bunch of plus .300 hitters and a helluva coaching staff.

They do have a few plus .300 hitters in Montgomery, Lynch, Pennington and Bayless. I think getting Bayless back helps a ton, she is a spark plug to say the least.

I think Show helps them overall both in the circle and at the plate but I think the loss of Shippy is huge! She is probably the best player in program history and undoubtedly a coach on the field. I think you guys will miss her more than you think. She was a generational player that you just don’t replace very often, after all she was responsible for 30% of OSU’s offense, either scoring (73) or driving in (30) 103 of the 347 runs they scored.

definitely not underestimating the loss of Shippy for sure. She was and still is a stud!! Gonna be a fun year to see how everything shakes out. Coach G creates such an awesome atmosphere and spins a positive on everything.

I am very interested in what OSU looks like with the newcomers and those transfers. I think Coach G has done a great job and will have a solid team this year, despite the loss of Shippy

"Gia had knee surgery in the off season and has not progressed to the point where we feel comfortable with her competing this season," the release quoted Baylor head coach Glenn Moore as saying.

They did get a transfer that, I hear, is pretty good. The freshman, Lindley, can be good but will have to fix her double planting.

That sucks for Baylor, feel for them. Those are some big losses in the circle.

Ouch. Was hoping ISU could squeak out a win vs Baylor this season. Not like this though.

Have I predicted anything anywhere other than on this thread, along with everyone else giving their own personal predictions/opinions?  Perhaps you're just looking for a debate when there hasn't really been one on here, at least not by me.

Rodoni and Walker are certainly big losses but they are the only other seniors along with Green. Green will be the leader in the circle along with Sidney Holman, the transfer from Abilene Christian, who is probably one of the hardest throwers Baylor has ever had. The only good thing is, Walker and Rodoni will return to a more experience roster next season.

There is still one other starter who I don’t think has been cleared to play so we’ll see what happens this week in Mexico with her. Baylor could potentially have 3 starters redshirting this season.
