Pretty good start to the season so far:
-Michigan: won 4-3 over NC St, playing Arizona right now
-Ohio State: won 7-0 over George Mason and 4-2 over Ole Miss
-Northwestern: won 12-0 over Utah State, playing Pacific right now
-Indiana: won 9-1 over Virginia and 2-1 over Bethune-Cookman
-Maryland: won 6-3 over Murray State
-Illinois: impressive win 7-4 over OK St, playing Kentucky right now
-Wisconsin: won 9-1 over Omaha and 8-0 over Lamar
-Iowa: won 5-3 over Bucknell

I bolded the wins I figure would be considered "quality wins" by the end of the year.

Let's just not talk about how bad of a year it's going to be for Rutgers after losing to Jacksonville St 11-2.

Wow Illinois wins the day. Not only did they take down a ranked OK St 7-4, they also just beat Kentucky 6-5

I told you guys last year Illinois can play a little bit. They can really swing the bats. Their pitching was what killed them. Wasn't even close to being D1 acceptable last year. If that's worked out they could be the sleeper team to win the Big Ten.

This is the way I see the B1G shaping out this year:

Teams that have a legit shot at winning the Big10:
Minnesota
Michigan
Northwestern
Illinois

Teams that I think can play spoiler in the Big10 but should also make the NCAA tourney:
Ohio State
Indiana
Wisconsin

Bubble Team:
Nebraska

Team that will have a good win here or there but not enough consistency to really amount to anything:
Iowa - solely because of Doocy

Teams that aren't good but they aren't Rutgers bad:
Purdue
Maryland
MSU

Penn St

Rutgers

Their women's soccer team I believe made the college cup recently and has been decent.... and lacrosse and wrestling are ok. But they have been awful at most other things. Their 4 conference wins in men's basketball have them in a position to finish in NOT-last in the Big Ten for the first time since joining, too. Penn State seems on a mission to take that prize this season.

BIG goes 19-9 on opening day. Not bad. Let's get some more wins today!
Purdue starting us off strong with an 11-3 run rule W over Central Michigan

Sigh. Minnesota falls to Ole Miss 3-1 and Michigan loses to Florida 6-0.

Let’s not insult a team that competes harder and with more consistency than Maryland. 😂

You are either hilariously uninformed about the history of JSU softball or just choosing to be a jackass. Can’t figure out which one.

I was talking about Maryland and Rutgers not being nothing to brag about. Maybe Jack. St. is good, who knows!

Jacksonville State has historically been a very good OVC school.  Knocked Auburn out of the FSU regional last year.

I’ll take what is the second option for $500 Alex.
First he says Rutgers sucks across the board, I guess when you have so much piss in your veins you can’t limit your attacks to just MD, then he says Jack St. Must suck since Rutgers beat them. Then he goes into backpedal mode when others shown he has no idea what he is talking about about either program..

I'm pretty relaxed. Kind of an odd response.
