We'll say the border is secure when Republicans are in office and secure it.

Under Democrats, at least those in play at the moment, the border will not be secured.

No you won't.  You had eight years under President Bush and it didn't happen, despite the fact we were seriously concerned about attacks from terrorists.

You didn't understand what I wrote. Let me repeat it.

We'll say the border is secure when Republicans are in office and secure it.

Where did I say Bush secured the border?

And likewise, under current GOP control, the border will not be secured.

woody - You're right.  The current GOP has no interest in securing and "owning" the border.  But you know the excuse, can't require e-verify because nobody will enforce it.  Can't do this, can't do that, blah blah blah.

I say do it and ride em hard if they don't enforce.  There's absolutely no harm in trying to force the issue.  The only harm, and the only reason there will be no bill securing the border, is a GOP who doesn't want to "own" the border, and the success, or lack thereof, related to the security that follows.

As opposed to Socialists Democrats that are importing tens of millions of new Democrat voters to insure their political Socialist Slave Plantation stays intact? Do you carry a whip? Are you more equal than those other animals on your plantation? How many Mexican National slaves do you want to support on your Plantation? How many millions of Mexican Nationals camped out on your Big House lawn will suddenly cause you to be alarmed that you have lost control of your Political Slave Plantation?

Patricia Smith unloads on Hillary for saying she was "absolutely wrong" at the debate.

Maybe Ramos is testing her trustworthiness because he's worried that Hillary will pull the undocumented from school and return them to their homeland.

From USA Today:

EX
Nine days after the Benghazi attack, Congress asked for any State Department emails related to the subject. It took two years before Congress was given access to a single email from Clinton’s private account. By then, four House committees and two Senate committees had already issued their reports on the issue.

-----
Incredibly, some people think those reports are the final word on Benghazi. Wishful thinking.

Yet another case of State Department using the thesaurus to describe how they inadvertently / unknowingly / accidentally / unwittingly yada yada yada transferred records under subpoena, which caused a delay of over a year before those records were "discovered" and turned over to the Benghazi committee.

Even more surprising, the same Big Government bureaucrat involved in delays of IRS records under subpoena was involved in this latest State Department fiasco.

http://freebeacon.com/issues/state-department-office-removed-benghazi-files-congressional-subpoena/

Wouldn't it be nice if the Obama administration had simply produced all relevant documents in a timely manner so this matter could have been out to rest years ago?

With all the "mistakes" they've admitted to over the years, isn't it amazing that every single mistake has served to delay or obfuscate one investigation or another. Incredible! It's almost as if they have something to hide.

I know the intention of this sentence, but it struck me funny, a grin of irony, how this exemplified the idea that politicians could issue opinion unsupported by fact or evidence.
