Should be a good one, much respect for Mcneese St. as they have a very good team, cannot overlook this team. Hopefully the Cajuns play up to what they are capable of and take care of business in that first game, and then worry about the Tigers. Got my tickets for all the games. and will be behind the 3rd base dugout. Geaux Cajuns, pack the park with a sea of red!!

Went there once to watch Cajuns vs Tigers in a regionals at LSU. Just wanted to experience the rivalry firsthand. Yeah that was fun. Cajuns won it. Tigers were not interested in hearing it was a good game after the last game. I wasn't wearing anyone's colors. It was interesting to watch and gauge the reactions of the two fan bases. I recommend it as an experience.

You should catch a regional or super regional at Lamson for an even better experience.  Too bad LSU won't play Louisiana in regular season.

Why don't you donate some $ to their program lefty, instead of making snide remarks? They get plenty of talent in their program so their kids must like Lamsom.

I'll keep making snide remarks until they put the players (their own and opponents') first and fix it

Oh sure...but going into Baton Rouge and beating them there when LSU wouldn't play them in the regular season, that was interesting to say the least. I've been hanging around Cajun softball for many years. Worked their camps a few times. I'm a fan.

Hey breauxbridge,
The Gremillion boys and a friend will be there, third base side leading the cheers just like at Lamson.
Looking forward to having a great time.

Your SNIDE REMARKS in every post on any subject about any team are really getting old.  Oh my, an outfield with no warning track.  Danger Will Robertson, Danger!

No warning track with a padded wall would be a lot better

Endlessly harp about basic safety measures that any legit program has? Yes

Well 3leftturns, I would say you might have a point regarding safety, except in the 20 years I have been following Louisiana softball, I have never, I repeat, NEVER seen any player get hurt running into the wall.

Knock on wood, I certainly hope that streak continues. But, there is a reason that every other major softball program and pro baseball team (from A to MLB) has a warning track and/or a padded fence. They don't spend that little bit of money for no reason.

That would be me he's calling an idiot.  Hello!!!  It's kind of like a badge of honor.  No one else on this board has the kahunas to call him out.  He doesn't like it when I do.  75% of what he writes is either trying to correct someone or arguing with whatever was written by someone else.  Such a sad, sad life.

Well bluedog that would put me at 89. My mother and father followed Louisiana softball from day one. Dads last game was when he was 92. I hope to still be going to the games at that age.

Badge of honor is being on the side of rudimentary safety precautions against a thoughtless trog sitting in the stands, sucking heads, who apparently could not give less of a cr*p

Last year at a summer camp in Virginia, an 11 year old girl was molested by one of the camp workers. Turns out the camp had no procedures in place to do background checks on workers or any other standard security measures for the kids. When questioned about this, the camp owner/director said "In 15 years this has never happened before."  Pretty awful answer.
