Fact Nicholson was recommended as his replacement and he hired Wagner back after a change in the athletic department. Fact after Nicholson was fired Wagner was the interim co head coach and then sent on his way. Why? He was part of two titles. Fact Corey went to Auburn and was banned from that campus. Now you want to believe that Myers was unaware of any of the poor character and behavior of staff members and his son? Myers protected his son until he couldn't. Of course he wanted to work with his sons and when he couldn't at ASU he was forced to leave. Corey had already moved to Alabama to work for the thunder bolts.
One thing I want to make clear is that Casey his oldest son has an impeccable reputation and shouldn't be compared to his brother. Both he and Clint are excellent coaches.

I am aware of all those facts.  However, as I stated, Myers left ASU of his own choosing in 2013.  Wagner was around for a good while after that as I understand it.  No doubt Clint had issues making good choices surrounding the investigation of those two asst coaches and with the culture in the program for not calling it out.  Heck, at Auburn, when Corey was initially suspended, not one player thought Corey was doing wrong and they all were questioned.  When he was finally "caught", Clint had players go to administration to back Corey, which was totally improper.  What turned me into a big doubter was when he said he would take Corey back in a minute ...this only a couple of weeks after Corey was sent packing.   He clearly just didn't get it, or want to get it.  All water way under the bridge at this point.

I did find it interesting that the USA Today All-American team bio that just came out listed her as uncommitted.

Garnet and gold are a little “full up” at the moment, no?

No - can always use pitchers - after King - everyone else needs to prove themselves - gives Lonni the option to redshirt pitchers if necessary.

Is Cassidy Davis still there?  I thought she was a pitcher too.

East Coweta is my local school and I haven’t heard anything at all about Kelley decommitting from Auburn.

Kids chose a school for many reasons. If looking at just softball UGA and that offense ( plus lack of
Pitching depth) could be a really good fit for Saile.

After King who else has proved themselves yet at the College level? Lots of development needed for all others on the list. Wishful thinking but Hanson was their 2018 savior - would be nice to get an experienced transfer at FSU to match up with King and then work on developing the rest...yes, wishful thinking but it worked wonders once.

Speaking of experienced transfer, has anyone heard anything on Megan Good's plans for next season?  Does she stay at JMU?  Transfer?

Who else has had opportunity up until this point? King was not particularly well “proven” before this year either. The Noles have a lot of talented arms and a coach who has a clue. They’ll be good in the pen. They likely would not have won the WCWS this year, but knowing Lonnie, I’m certain they would have been pretty good even without Hanson.

Um, what are we calling proven?  King was 25-5 in 2016 and part of a team that went to the WCWS where she pitched for FSU.  She took the win vs. Utah that helped FSU advance to OKC in 2016..  I think King was well proven before this year, she just may not as been as mature as she was this year.

I do know a couple schools pressing her to come in for a visit and actively still recruiting her, but as far as I know she is still solid

With these new recruiting rules we could see decommitments happen more often

Kelly is sold on Auburn. Unless something changes, she will be on board in 2019.

Did anyone else think that the writer was going to have more articles on the Auburn scandal?  I read the article as this is just the beginning.  Does anyone know if more articles will be released?
