The more I watch it the more it seems like to me he was just following through the high five by hitting her shoulder (lightly) and keeping it moving. With the history there I don't think he should've done that but I have a hard time thinking it was malicious.

Looked like the auburn player was being a punk--not touching hands with opposing team, for starters.

Nice to get some softball played tonight.  Had to be a rough couple of days to focus.  Tons of walks, needed to get a few more hits, but got it done on the road.   Left 13 on I believe.  I am curious to know who was calling pitches tonight.

Incredible grind it out game. How could we ever play a clean, focused game after all the events Monday until now? It's amazing that we were able to win tonight. Lots of softball to be played this weekend. I hope Makayla Martin can right the ship in SEC play. Brittany Gray threw 170 pitches for the Bulldogs tonight.

Come on man...a clean, grind it out game?? Gray walked 11, hit 2 Auburn batters, GA defense committed 2 errors and their whole infield is wearing masks. Looked like a little league game.

And your Olympic Speed Skater, Carlson, was especially effective considering 50% of her pitches she was standing in her 1st base dugout on release. And per usual, crickets from the Umpires. (but, if it wasn't called I guess she was legal...ye good luck with that)

Auburn was pretty much handed that game on a platter.

No, it was an ugly, grind it out game. I said how could we play a clean, focused game after the events of this past week? Auburn had 2 errors as well and it was an ugly, grind it out game.

Now, UGA with the 11 walks, 3 hit batters, and 3 errors..... that is their issue to address.

Sorry if my post was difficult to understand.

Edited to add: My main point is that it is incredible Auburn won at all considering the off the field events this week.

Glad to get game #2 in the books.  13-4 Auburn with Carlee Wallace leading the way and Haley Fagan getting back into the swing of things too.   Early start tomorrow and hopefully this team will continue to find it's way.   Great to see some runs being scored after facing UF's great staff.

Blow out loss to Ole Miss today.  Clint Myers is continuing his search for some clutch hitting and finally did what I wish he would have done early on...play Greenwood and Rivera both.  Rivera has shown she is ready for this level of play and Greenwood still needs some seasoning (pun intended), but she can hit at this level.   Defensively, I just don't get where we are.  Even the non-error plays just don't show good planning...not letting balls go foul, backing up on balls that need to be charged with lefties that can run....just mediocre softball at best in the field.  McKayla is in a slump pitching, but the defense is playing a part in that.  Congrats to Ole Miss on a nice win today and that combined with the wins last week put them in a good spot for the NCAA's.   They don't have a ton of tools, but they get work out of the ones they have.  You have to really appreciate they defense they played today.  I think 4 DP's, maybe 5.  The one from left field was outstanding.

Auburn is struggling when anyone other than Kaylee Carlson is in the circle.

Did they lose to ole miss, a team that wasn't going to make the SEC tournament until today's win?

Well this season just continues to develop into a soap opera.   How stupid do you have to be to be using in season and in a position where you can get yourself arrested?   We'll see how long they are suspended.   Cooper will be playing with a black eye (ground ball in warm ups Wednesday got her), McKayla Martin certainly not pitching this weekend and Fagan out with Brittany Marsette out as well for inappropriate weeding.

Well how bout that.  Karma is a BI***!!!!  Just waiting on Clint's resignation at this point.  What's the over/under of this happening before the end of the season vs. after they are finished up whenever that might be?

Great couple of days in the circle for Auburn in South Carolina.   Carlson with the 2-0 complete game Friday and Ashley Swindle handles the role well today.  5.1 scoreless with just two hits and no walks, relieved by Kaylee Carlson who gets the save and will go Sunday.  Veach with a Hr and double, hopefully finding her way.  Still way too many opportunities being left at the plate, leaving 8 more on base today.   Defense seems to be pretty sharp with one misplayed throw by replacement SS Whitney Jordan, but I didn't see the play.  Chance to sweep a team that just gave FSU a loss and a good game last weekend.   No doubt this team has figured out a way to focus.

The Bible tells us the Creator doesn't forgive sin just because we ask Him to...........Our sin is never forgiven if we don't set an example by following Him and live a lifestyle He wants for us..........

Religion teaches otherwise, but the Bible is the Truth...........Don't be fooled.........

Well written by a young mind. Respectful, caring, honest & sincere. Ms Kendall Maddox seems a future role model. I applaud her.

Seems it's convenient for Ms Fagan to look thru Christian glasses in times of distress. We see that alot in Death Row inmates. The cynic in my adult eyes leads me to a more objective and experienced view.

Ms Fagan is a direct product of her environment. Certainly bright, driven & successfull. She's also self-serving, disrespectfull & arrogant. She has defined herself time & time again by those actions which, conveniently run in her gene pool. What she isn't is contrite, humble & mature. For whatever reason she appears to be an angry young women who runs roughshod over rules, peers & other adults. Sadly, her parents and most tragically her coaches appear to condone her actions.

She's young and has has the time to build her character resume from the dumpster fire it is into something that may land her employment under somebody not on work release. Her current role model is the mirror. Until that changes she will live in the past of what could have been.

Minor apologies if this offends anyone. Just tired of everyone being sorry after the fact. And what's more offensive...as soon as Ms Fagan turns a nice DP or hits a HR, all is forgotten.

First thing she should do is, run away from whomever is impacting her mind on spirituality and read the Bible...........

Then, get that tattoo removed..........Audience of one?........You gotta be kidding............

And, she better run far away from it..........

The "we are a family" attitude on college teams can be very dangerous to players........Tread carefully with this stuff..............

My attitude has always been, you're not my family..........I'm here to play softball and get an academic education..........

The audience of one is herself.  The sincerity in her pursuit of a healthy spirit is fraudulent, it appears she just goes through the motions because she has a calculating, manipulative mind.

Ok, bluedog,

Here is your scripture:

I John 1:9  If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just and will forgive us our sins and purify us from all unrighteousness.

Straight from scripture. No religion attached.

As to Kendall Maddox.  Wow.  Wish I had written that.  No one's opinion of Haley Fagan can diminish the truth of Maddox' comments, IMHO.  It appears that Fagan is a product of a toxic home environment and poor role models as coaches.  She is young, and enormously conflicted as she tries to figure out who she is and who she should be. Hopefully she has better days ahead, if she has the courage to experience an honest self evaluation.

Uh?? Scripture....Religion....pretty sure they run in the same circle.

Religion is nothing more than a smokescreen for the hypocritical frauds

Vol, glad you responded................[smile]

Here are three verses pertaining to forgiveness of sin............I post three so the context is better put forth..........Now, speaking against the Holy Spirit is what religion leaves out in their preaching...........I noticed you did the same............Be careful here, Vol, by leaving this part out, you're changing the context of what our Creator is telling us.............And, therfore, changing The Creator's message to us..........

Quote:
Matthew 12:32
Whoever speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever speaks against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven, either in this age or in the one to come.

Mark 3:28
Truly I tell you, the sons of men will be forgiven all sins and blasphemies, as many as they utter.

Luke 12:10
And everyone who speaks a word against the Son of Man will be forgiven, but whoever blasphemes against the Holy Spirit will not be forgiven.
