Little late, but Wester got nothing but foot on that stolen base. Not sure how you miss that.

Dear God. Cal's already made 2 errors. 1-1, T2, Cal is home  team.

Dear God! Another error. 2-1, ND, B2.

If you watch college softball, it is uncanny how many runs score not by hits but by walks and errors. A TON. I'll bet of all runs scored
in D1, close to half come via runners who first got on via a walk or error. The Cal SS, I heard, has 22 errors this year.

The Cal catcher, Annie Aldrete, had an All America-type freshman year at Tennessee--19 homers, lots of RBIs, was co-national freshman of the year. A California kid, she seemed destined for stardom. She got off to a good start as a sophomore--then fell into a slump at the end of that season. It was later learned that a good friend of hers going to school in Nebraska, I think, had died during the season, and that loss deeply affected Aldrete. After her soph season Aldrete decided to transfer to Cal to be closer to home. Seemed a weird decision, all things considered. In any case, at Cal her game has completely deteriorated. Hit 7 home runs, with a poor average last year, and this year is hitting .223 with three home runs. Yikes. Surely loss of confidence has a lot to do with her falloff. A very good player who's lost it. On the positive side, her Cal team is leading ND at the moment (game still in progress).

They HAVE to get review at each regional and onward... Can have a mental midget easily cowed by a home crowd soiling the tournament like that

Laxamana tagged the tying run with a ball in her bare hand and the putz behind the plate called it a bobble. In her hand the whole time

Ump claimed the catcher bobbled the ball on a tag at home, she did initially bobble it but recovered with her bare hand well in time.

The only possible thing in Auburn's defense is that she may not have actually tagged the runner with the ball, but that wasn't what the ump called.

And another blown call. There are no words for how bad this crew is.

I expect (or hope) for a suspension for this crew moving forward.

Myers' checks clearing all over the place.... another safe that would be overturned on review.

DISGUSTING

Looked to me like a bobble, ball in hand, glove between ball and runner, no ball in glove..... no tag.
