What a great season for coach Trish Ford , changing the program around from top to bottom, great for the PAC 12

Ford will be most happy if Hamilton High pitcher Abby Anderson can ease the load on Juarez. Anderson lost to Schuld in the 6A state championship game.
Schuld lost to Anderson in 2017.
These two will face each other in the Territorial Cup series in Hillenbrand 2019.
Hopefully Ali Ashner will be ready to go against her ex-teammate.

Asu is also bring in a second pitcher Mikayla Santa Cruz from CDO high school, from what I hear throws in the mid 60s.

Cannot recall a player(s) from Tucson playing for ASU that excelled especially in the circle.
Acuña and Santa Cruz come from very good well known sports minded families.

Terra top 50 recruit , based on flosoftball ranking, also from Cali Makenna Harper sister of Jessie Harper. A very sound recruiting class for coach Ford.

Ford recruited Kamalani Dung to Fresno. If Kamalani had transferred to ASU to pair with G then that would've been a pretty good 1-2.

It also shows Ford can identify and develop good pitchers.

Dung was afraid to be too successful though. She chose Cal.

Cal degree is a WAY better choice. Seems successful to me.

As far as once in a lifetime, realistic shot at athletic team glory? Following Ford to ASU was the ticket.

At least Fresno St had lights on their field!

Idiotic comment. Then she should've transferred to Stanford. Why do players bother to go to the WCWS schools when by your definition they'd be more successful going to Stanford?

Don't be mean. And the answer to your question is, they don't go to Stanford because either 1-Stanford Softball doesn't want them, 2-they can't qualify academically, or 3-their parents make a poor decision.
