She’s 5 foot 10. Muscular build anyway. Pregnant —200 is not a stretch.
BTW my DD put on 10+ lbs quickly after leaving college ball. Had to get back into exercise routine to lose it. It happens.

No way. At least 7 months. It's pretty sad, getting close probably lead to the desperation. Not to sound sexist but maybe she can blame pregnancy hormones.

Alvelo was arrested her senior year of high school for shoplifting.

She had clearly overcome that, just think it was a joke because the charges were the same

Like I said in an earlier post, she better thank goodness that she is no longer at Auburn because if she was still there, this story would be all over social media. I only found out about this story when I saw the post on here today. I just hope that she can turn her life around!

True. But a 17/18 year old high schooler shoplifting is an entirely different story from a felony theft committed by a 24 year old college grad. Six years in age, a lot more money value and the maturity to KNOW better. She does deserve a chance to change. But you can’t equate the two.

Lol, funny but Walton was more at fault imo.

You can dismiss each of the HF red marks individually (smoking weed, pushing Walton, her sister getting kicked off UF, shoplifting), but all together point to an individual lacking integrity.

You're libelling UW for one player? F*ck off. My respect level for Alvelo is now very low though.

Nice job...jayrot makes one of a dozen sarcastic remarks and you single him out.

So Alvelo is now an Ex-Con. Good for you super homer.

As an aside, your #2 pitcher is illegal.

I didn’t equate the two. I said clearly Alvelo has overcome that.

The Alvelo story included the Father embezzling money from a softball program so it wasn't just an 18yo making poor decisions.

Does the prison have a softball league?  What position would Fagan play?  Please weigh in, if not, I will contact prison board and see what is needed to form a league....Let me know if anyone has extra gloves, bats and helmets...Thanks.

Ahh, so you think it's fair to label an entire program because of one player?

So what did playing big time softball do for her? What discipline did it teach? I think a lot of that is bull crap. It's a business and coaches use players and players try to get away with what they can. Yes, there are success stories, but this is part of the dirty little secret.

Not at all.

but the post was sarcastic but fair.

Can you imagine the stuff that COULD be posted about a kid who gets caught stealing, while pregnant & unmarried, attending a Christian Univ. Only thing better would be is she was actually employed as a Coach in some capacity.

Oh the irony.

Ye, hope that doesn't get posted.

I’m not shedding tears over anybody Scupino. The only reason I’m not letting 100 jokes off on her right now is because she is pregnant. I could talk about how she saw Oceans 8 this past weekend and got motivated by Sandra Bullock to do her robbery switcharoo scene but I won’t go there, hahaha!

I think the success rate is pretty high, for the positive.

South Alabama or Auburn didn't push this kid to make a lifetime of bad choices before she turned 25.

Bad Gene Pool.

For Haley, it would appear that "staying open" doesn't apply only to hitting. [wink]

My daughter is a D1 softball player, my son was a D1 athlete, and I was once a D1 athlete.....None of us have ever been inside a police car, little on in jail. Staying out of trouble is really not that difficult.

The entire Fagan family has been involved in one controversy after another. While the jokes might be a little bit insensitive, their continued bad behavior and choices, do not warrant me taking the high ground. If the Fagan family doesn't like their names getting drug through the mud, perhaps they should stay out of the mud in the first place.

This isn't a softball problem more like a Fagan sister problem. The sisters have a history of craziness. Google their names and you will see all of the stories about them!

Fagans may skip right past a 30-for-30 and end up with a Netflix true crime docuseries.

That would be one crazy 30 for 30 series. ESPN could do something about them on the SEC Network since the SEC is where all their craziness took place at. There is one more Fagan sister left (Cameron) and she was going to go to Missouri but they got rid of EE so she is back to open recruitment!

Haley announced her marriage and pregnancy to the Liberty team. She left the team about a month before season ended. Her husband plays baseball overseas, Korea, I think.

Wow, imagine playing overseas in Korea and then you find out that your pregnant girlfriend (I doubt that they are married) got arrested for committing a felony (stealing). I know he is pissed!
