So for the 2019 season, the Cats have 4 catchers and 7 pitchers. Iveson recruits, Mowatt has resources, and if the Cats continue hitting and playing solid D, they're in the 2019 WCWS save not many major injuries.

Shocking considering Candrea has never had 5 or 6 pitchers every year...oh wait he has.
Then again , only 1 will probably pitch all the games as usual.

Last season McQ pitched 120 innings in 28 games. Now with Mowatt on board, we'll have to wait and see the pitcher's workloads.

Arizona fans will appreciate what Craighton brings...........

Not only can she hit and play, her attitude is off-the-charts good............

Denham has a really good attitude, also..........

Candrea and Michael Lotief have been great friends for a long time..............The adjustment will be easy for these players - a really good fit..........

Arizona will be a better team with them..........

Curious if you think Craighton's jacked up Sunbelt stats over her career will translate to the PAC 12?

Again, she also played eight games against teams who made at least the Sweet 16 last year

vs. Alabama (x3), vs. LSU (x3), vs. Texas A&M, vs. Baylor

7-24 (.292), 4 BB, HBP, HR, 2B
12-29, .414 OBP
11-24, .458 SLG
.872 OPS

Arizona will take those numbers against that caliber of competition

Puts her 8th best on last year's team barely beating out Statman.

Fair enough though. She should hit more HR in that thin air to.

Mulipola-2
Palomino-3
Carranco-4
M. Martinez-5
Harper-6
Kean-7
Craighton-8
Hughes-9
Statman-DH
McQuillin-1

#18 gets first crack at the circle
Denham  6' 2" tall had 15 Wins & 2 losses, 2.27 era with 80 Ks in 129 innings
Been awhile since Candrea had an outfielder with 50+ rbi
Last one was in 2010 Brittany Lastrapes.

I hope you're correct that Palomino plays 1b. That seems like it would make a much stronger OF and keep 5 at 2b and 28 in the OF. Crossing my fingers.

I like Statman, but unless she can start cranking more consistently, and Palomino provides the better odds at dh, by all means, put Palomino there.

Yeah, you're right - hitting, speed, defense and pitching smack of 2015. Good hitting throughout the batting order, speed at the top and 9 slot, and big power in the 3, 4, 5, and 6. Defense looks solid, and pitching is the weakest link? Mowatt will hopefully be the X Factor.
