Scupino,

You're awfully touchy again, are you drunk already?

I may not know what you're reference was if it was in code. I took your post at face value, and she did lose her pants - she got spanked at the plate. So everybody here is in the room because the Baylor SR stats are posted on the Cats website.

A pretty good roundup.  Candrea says McQuillin has reinvented herself this year...much needed!  I think Mowatt is the key moving forward for our pitchers.

Nope but hopefully get a chance to watch a game there soon.

Don't get to excited. If you catch a game stay close to the university. Get ready to take 40 minutes to drive 5 blocks because everyone drives 8 MPH. Trump could do Arizona a favor by building the wall on 22nd street and giving Mexico everything south. Try to annex Rocky Point as part of the US in trade. Change the name of the city to Oro Valley and start over. Good news, the hole in the wall Mexican food places and Sonoran dogs are to die for.

We have family that lives In Tucson. Last year my daughters team played at UA. After being there for a few days she asked me β€œ so this is where my cousins live” I said yes. Her response was β€œ I feel sorry for themβ€πŸ˜”

UA is a decent enough stadium just in a weird location with no parking.  With that program I expected nicer.  The press box in a tent is a nice touch    Great fans though
ASU a million times better stadium

You people are something else...you have to remember Hillenbrand was built a long time ago!  I agree with the no parking thing for sure!

Btw, Tucson is a great town...but laughed at the driving 8mph so true.πŸ˜‰

And Farrington has more condusive conditions for dingers - a few degrees hotter and a handfull of percentage points less humidity.

Makes me wonder - why not more Sun Devils on the HR records lists? Hmmm.

True the town and University were built a long time ago.
I guess it is nice when you can say your DD went to the same school as Wyatt Earp.

Once saw a ball hit off the brick building in center field in Tuscon and one over a palm tree in right field in Tempe......by the same player.  Man those balls can sail out of both so I see the point on why not more dingers?

Well I guess, you lived there. Plus would hate to see you and scupido on the same side. Still not a fan.
3 hour round trips from Phoenix on the 10 is literally hell in a car. Probably 150 trips and can say at least 1 accident every time. Finally fixed the freeway. Previously always enjoyed no exit between Tangerine and Speedway.
Downtown got a face lift so that helps but sorry you can still have anything south of Broadway.

Actually, i didn't care for growing up here. It took becoming an adult to enjoy the 8-9 months of spectacular weather, weekend's drive to Phoenix, Sedona, Vegas, San Diego, Rocky Point, the great food scene we have here https://www.usatoday.com/story/travel/experience/food-and-wine/2016/08/19/tucson-food-scene/85376066/

TBH, the only reason to go south of 22nd is the airport. I live by sabino canyon and work basically at the base of the mountains. Downtown is so revitalized from when i was growing up.. It's great to see. I love Tucson.

Just watched the Candrea press conference, and he did mention that in 2019, the Cats open up with Florida, Michigan and South Florida at USF...super cool!

Hillenbrand is a discernably smaller park

Not sure what you mean but Hillenbrand is 200 to the poles and 220 in CF. Farrington is 202 down the lines and 210 in CF.

3LT, I encourage you to measure them. Both Pima County (Tucson) and Maricopa County (Tempe) GIS departments have orthorectified aerials free online, and both have a measuring tool.

I just did it and the distances are correct.

I have seen too many balls hit over the arizona A 30 feet high in CF for 220 to be plausible. But if the distance IS right, than it is the conditions that are incomparable
