A perfect game! Wow!  Congratulations to Floyd and her teammates.  Only the ninth in Arizona history.  And our fantastic Jennie Finch never threw one.  I read the first since 2010.  Seems almost impossible regardless of strength of opponent.  ZTE how many pitchers of any quality at top programs, with so many blowouts during the years, have achieved the perfect game result?  A quality performance at the Division 1 level.

I was told that for half the game the starters had been pulled and the subs were Floyd's back ups.  They proved they can play and deserve time on the field.  Good for them.  I can only imagine the pressure Floyd and all of them felt during the last two innings.

I read the article about Floyd staying at Arizona and always trying to be ready.  Sounds like a class act kid that we all at Arizona can be really proud of her being one of us.  I can only imagine how hard it is to keep the chin up and watch when she had a zero earned run average in the fall and has maintained a zero earned run average in her limited innings this season.  Floyd you now have your special spot in Arizona softball history books.

They shouldn't lack confidence coming into Tuesday's game.

OU starting to show some of its usual mojo. Should be a good match.

Good news and bad news with the series in Corvallis this weekend. They don't have lights, so they have a 1 p.m. PDT start time on Friday, which is forecast to be before the rain rolls in.

However, starting at about 8 p.m., the rain will settle in until c. 4 p.m. Saturday.

Dunno if they will try squeezing in a DH on Friday, or on Sunday

Looks like it is Left-onite against the Superman Cats again

Which is flat-out bizarre with the reps they must get against quality southpaws in practice

7K and two infield pop-ups first time through

Looks like Parker has the Cats baffled. 7 Ks at the end of 3, 1-0 Sooners.
