Hopefully she can put in a lot of work the next three days and he can find a way to get her in the lineup some this weekend.

FRIDAY/SATURDAY: Heights aloft rise again, and these two days look generally dry, although we will still mention a chance of isolated afternoon showers and storms. The sky will be partly sunny both days with a high between 87 and 90 degrees.

SUNDAY/MONDAY: The ridge weakens again, and as a cold front approaches we expect an increase in the number of showers and thunderstorms Sunday with a high back down in the low 80s. A strong storm is possible with a fairly unstable airmass, but wind fields look weak and for now we don’t expect a big severe weather issue.

Got my tickets and ready for this weekend.  I hope the crowd is great.  This season has been one of the most frustrating in the 20 years I have been supporting this program, but I think this team has learned a lot, and hopefully over the next few weeks if they don't make it as far as they want, it will drive them for the next few years.  ROLL TIDE!

TOMORROW/SATURDAY: Not much change; we will forecast a mix of sun and clouds both days with highs between 87 and 90. An afternoon shower or storm is possible, but they will be pretty widely spaced.

SUNDAY: Rain coverage goes up across the Deep South as the upper ridge weakens and a surface front approaches. It won’t rain all day, but we do expect occasional showers and thunderstorms with a mostly cloudy sky. A strong storm is possible, but the severe weather risk for now looks very low with marginal instability and weak wind fields. Rain amounts of 1-2 inches are possible, and the high will be close to 80 degrees because of the clouds and showers.

Today's game times have changed! [eek]

All the games have been moved up two hours to avoid the impending bad weather.Today's games are at 11:30 am, 2 pm and 4:30 pm.

Bama plays Minnesota at 11:30 am and it will be aired live on ESPN.

Bailey made a couple of really solid plays at first base, maybe there is hope for her yet.  Even though I think Demi made a mistake running the bases in the last inning, can anyone doubt the differences she makes when she is on the field?  I was surprised at the last call, but the ump was doing that to Lexi as well...I can't imagine that MN won't be mad, I was hoping for the chance to go back out there and watch their game tonight.  Anyway, felt like a super regional and even though we are not the greatest hitting team I felt their pitcher looked really good at making us look bad at times.

WHAT A GAME!  [eek] Instant classic.  The very definition of a pitcher's duel.  Welcome back, Demi Turner! [biggrin]  Didn't look like she lost a beat defensively, and got two of Bama's four hits. Alexis Osorio is a beast--throwing a no-no though seven.  [nono]  And Reagan Dykes is having a hell of a regional.  Don't underestimate her last at bat--having the guts/patience to take that last pitch, especially when Groenewegen's change-up had been killing us all day.  [thumb]

Now we just have to wait and see what kind of havoc tonight's and tomorrow's weather will play with the schedule for tomorrow....   [sneaky]

Glad to see some breaks go Bama's way for a change!  Tough-luck loss for Minnesota, for sure....

When it's bottom of the ninth in a scoreless game and you're hot and tired and desperately wanting Bama to pull out a win--you break out the Murphy rally hat!  AND IT WORKED!!  [biggrin][biggrin][biggrin]

Highlights from last night's game.  As TideKid said, it was so cool that all three seniors made such major contributions to the victory.  RTR, and let's go skin some Gatas!

It was great to see. Boy, Chandler Dare barely missed breaking that last game wide open a couple times on ripped line drives that were just foul by inches.
